My card today features a couple of things that are leaving us soon! 🥺 We all know that the 2023-2025 In Colors will be retiring soon and, for a lot of folks – there’s a lot of sadness over that – especially over losing Boho Blue! And the Pretty Petals stamp set and bundled dies are on the Last Chance chance list which means THEY’RE leaving, too! I grabbed a two-step sentiment from the Linked Together stamp set and used some of my favorite paper – the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP (these are in the Jan-Apr 2025 Mini!). Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! Happy Sunday – and…Happy Birthday to my brother, Joe! 😎 I hope he has a good day – he was checking out a kitty yesterday – a 2 year old tuxedo kitty – and I hope that he’s got a new furry friend at home! He wrote that he’s “checking him out” but that he “took the carrier”. When you take the carrier – or a leash when “checking out a puppy” – that’s a SURE sign that…it would have to go REALLY badly to NOT bring said four-leggedy home!! 🙂

Good morning, y’all and happy weekend! We’ve got all the normal things on the plate today but…I’m also going to try to make heads or tails in my craft room. It’s in a bit of a….turmoil…right now! Good morning, y’all and Happy Monday! We had a pretty abrupt start to our day yesterday – with the Tornado Warning alert going off on the television at around 415am! A look at the radar showed that it was a very fast moving straight line of storms. It only lasted for about 30 min – but it rained and the wind blew!! – like crazy. And…the power went out at about 430. And – didn’t come back until almost 930. Which necessitated a trip to Starbucks at about 6 – mocha’s for us and a pup-cup for The Man!! Couldn’t get a picture – it was dark – I had my hands full of mochas and he was…. FAST and DETERMINED! 🙂
Once the power came back I headed to my craft room and pulled out the new Thankful Garden bundle – well – the stamp set and dies, I didn’t even need the included masks!! – and some coordinating Lovely Garden DSP to make a pretty thank you card.
