Hey Mike Mike Mike Mike MIKE!! Do you know what day it is?
Well, of course you do cuz I started the post out with Hey Mike Mike Mike Mike MIKE!
Yes – it’s Hawmp Day! AND it’s also just about the half way point of my sojourn here in Savannah! And I’m ready! Not that I’m not enjoying my time here – the people here are fun and the food is certainly spectacular…
But – I am so looking forward to the end of the 4:30 alarm! Or…a 5:30 alarm. Or any alarm at all!! I do just fine when I wake up cuz it’s light outside. The alarm, though, has become my enemy. I’m getting downright pissy with Siri when I tell her to turn the alarm on for the next day! 😉
Waaahhhh – whine much, Mary?!?
You came for a card and that’s what I’m fixin’ to give you! Now – this card isn’t one of my quick and easy’s. Nope – this one took some time and it’s completely my fault. All was going along pretty fast – even given the masking I needed to do – and then I pulled out the Venetian Crochet Trim. And got all creative with it. But – I’m getting ahead of myself! Be warned, though – the steps are easy, but there’s a few of them so, this post may be kinda long…. 😉

And I pulled out some of the pretty Affectionately Yours DSP. Take a look-see:

I started by tearing the edges off a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I also cut a heart from a piece of Very Vanilla, using the largest die in the new Sweet & Sassy Framelits. Then I tore the edges all the way around the heart. Using a tiny little bit of SNAIL, I lightly adhered the heart to the card front panel. Continue reading →
