Good morning and happy Monday! I hope wherever you are that your weather has cooled off a bit! We had a few storms over the weekend which gave us a bit of a respite but…it’s straight up SUMMER here in Georgia! Even Cady is STROLLING around and she is usually On A Mission to….everywhere. Including in for dinner! When Cady walks in at night – you KNOW it’s hot!
Today’s card will – hopefully – give you a little taste of Fall weather! It’s got some 2026-2028 Gingham Gallery DSP, a little Sweet Foliage and Simply Leaves for the sentiment. Take a look-see:
The layout for this card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.
I did a quick video on how to make this card – which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by adhering a panel of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham DSP to a Cajun Craze mat for the card front.
I adhered a 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ strip of Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock (dark side up) to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Then I wrapped a length of Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon around the cardstock strip, securing it in back with Mini Glue Dots.
I cut two 1 3/4″ x 4″ pieces of Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock. With them on my work surface – one with the light side up and one with the dark side up. I stamped them both with the Sweet Foliage stamp – inked with Cajun Craze ink.
Then I matted both pieces on Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock (again with the dark side up). I adhered the lighter matted panel with Liquid Glue and the second panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a Linen Thread bow with a little Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and on a piece of light-side-up Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock, I stamped the Simply Leaves vein image in Crisp Cantaloupe and punched them out with the Simple Leaf Punch.
On the Very Vanilla leaf, I stamped the Simply Leaves sentiment in Cajun Craze ink.
I adhered the two leaves together with a little Liquid Glue than popped them over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added five Crisp Cantaloupe 2026-2028 In Color Dots and the card front was done.
On a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Simply Leaves sentiment in Cajun Craze ink and the small plaid leaf image a few times in Crisp Cantaloupe ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Simply Leaves plaid leaf in Crisp Cantaloupe on the front…
…and more Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well, the Simply Leaves bundle is already one of my faves – I love all the leafy options and that it’s a PUNCH bundle! And Sweet Foliage is showing how easy it is to make “DSP”! I’m not even going to mention how much I love gingham, okay? I think you know that the 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP is a go-to for me, right?!
I hope you like! 🙂

But – if we were riding or driving – THIS is what she sees!
And her reaction would be VERY different!! LOL
