Good morning! Happy Half-Weekend. Hope it’s going well for you – we’ve been…soggy. It’s rained off and on (more ON than OFF!) for the last three days. And it’s JUST warm enough to not need a lot of jacket but just COOL enough to need something. Put the hoody on – take the hoody off – put the hoody on….sheesh!
To be clear – I’ll take this all day long over 13 degrees!! 🥶
My card today uses all the pieces and parts of the stunning Enduring Beauty bundle – the stamps – the dies – and the amazing builder masks! With the addition of some Poetic Expressions DSP and Exposed Brick 3D Embossing – it made for a beautiful card. Take a look-see:
Right?!
The layout for this one is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.
And the color palette is from the Global Design Project color challenge.
And the idea to use these beautiful masks was thanks to the prompt from the Just Us Girls challenge.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Enduring Beauty set in Lost Lagoon ink in the corner of a Gray Granite panel. Then I embossed it in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of the Poetic Expressions DSP on the top of the panel. Then – using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered some Lost Lagoon 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon across the seam – securing it in the back with more Stampin’ Seal.
On a piece of Gray Granite cardstock, I stamped the big, beautiful floral from Enduring Beauty in Gray Granite ink.
Using the masks in the set – in numerical order – I used Small Blending Brushes to add Poppy Parade for the flowers and Lost Lagoon for the leaves. There are two masks for the flowers – a fill and a detailed mask – and two for the leaves. The final mask is for the stamen and I used it – lightly – with more Gray Granite ink.
Using the large die in the set, I cut out the completed image. Then I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tip – keep the Dimensionals near the middle of the die cut – cuz that’ll make the next step much easier!
Using the leaves dies in the set, I cut out some Lost Lagoon leaves and some Vellum cardstock leaves.
I tucked them under the die cut – using Liquid Glue on the stems to adhere them.
Finally, I added twinkly Iridescent Foil Gems and the card front was done!
On the inside, I used the masks to add the Enduring Beauty flower in the corner of a Basic White mat. Notice that I did NOT stamp the image first – so there’s a SECOND way to use the masks!!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Gray Granite mat and into my Lost Lagoon card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Enduring Beauty flower on the front…
…and more of the Poetic Expressions DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Really, y’all – this bundle! Enduring Beauty would be wunnermus if ALL it had in the bundle was stamped images and sentiments and a coordinating die set. But – it ALSO includes the amazeballs masks! And, once again, Stampin’ Up! knocked it out the park with these – they align perfectly and make it SO easy to be a “master colorer” (even if – like me! – you really aren’t!). I love the old-fashioned colors and designs in the Poetic Expressions DSP, too – SO very versatile and pretty!
I hope you like!
