Well – happy Monday. Again. Are the weekends going by faster and faster for you, too? I thought for sure that would stop when I retired, but…nope! They still just fly by! 🤷♀️
My card today is so quick and so easy – I literally (no – really!) made 4 of them – WITH a reel – in just about an hour! So – if you need some pretty thank you cards quick like a bunny, check it out!
I used the Earthen Textures stamp set – didn’t even need the bundled dies for this one! – and added some texture with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!
And the color palette is from the Color Throwdown challenge.
I started by stamping the tall vase from Earthen Textures three times (at different heights) in Cajun Craze on a Basic White panel.
I stamped the image two more times on a couple of sticky notes and cut them out to make two masks.
I added the masks to the middle and end vase and then stamped the Earthen Textures feathery image in Lost Lagoon “in” the end vase. I stamped the twigs in Wild Wheat “in” the middle vase.
I moved the mask from the end vase to the one on the left (leaving the center mask in place) and stamped the Lost Lagoon feather.
Then I embossed the panel in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the panel to a Wild Wheat mat.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Earthen Textures sentiment in Wild Wheat and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added three Wild Wheat 2023-2025 In Color Dots and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Earthen Textures sentiment in Wild Wheat on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped the tall vase in Cajun Craze and – using that mask again! – stamped the feather in Lost Lagoon and the twigs in Wild Wheat.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Wild Wheat mat and into my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the stamped vase, feather and twigs on the front…
…and I added some Earthen Elegance DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh, y’all – I love the Earthen Textures stamp set so much! The bundled dies are gorgeous, obviously, but…look what you can do even without using them!! A little EXTRA texture is never a bad thing and the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder is just the ticket.

Great card for a quick Get Well, TY or even sympathy card when you need one quickly to allow postal delivery time! Totally understand the bear—our DoG has a stuffed duck with a muted quaker that he “kills” every morning before breakfast and drops it at my feet while I fill his bowl. We do have a spare for when this one’s not repairable anymore.
