Stampin’ Up! Sunday Video Sneak Peek and a Sticky Sweet Ordering Special!

Good Sunday morning, y’all! Hope you’re having a good weekend!

We went to the StampNStorage sale up north of Atlanta yesterday. I bought a few things – that I probably don’t need, but…SALE. Hello?!? And – we picked it all up and brought it home with us. So now there’s a need for a slight re-arrangement of my stamping spot! Will be getting on that today!

Tonight, we’ll have a little live FB video – I’ll be on an hour earlier than usual at 7pm Eastern so that I’ll be ready for our Team Meeting at 8! We’re going to make a clean and simple card with the new Springtime Foils DSP (SAB second release – available on 16 Feb) and a little help from the SAB Amazing You stamp set and matching Celebrate You Thinlits. Stampin’ Up! Sweethearts, Baskets and Sunshine Wishes Love Note

Happy Friday, y’all! The week is drawing to a close and, for me, it’s doing it from Huntsville! Found out on Wednesday that I had to come over here the next day to get my computer updated and pick up my new work phone. So – typing this post on Thursday evening from my hotel in Huntsville. Will head home Friday afternoon!

Got some fun plans for tomorrow – a friend and I are going to a StampNStorage pop-up sale on the north side of Atlanta! 20% off everything AND 30% off Magnetic cards! And we can walk right out with them. Whoo-hoo!

Now – my card for you today has no stamping! A little bit of ink from a Stampin’ Blend – but…no stamps were inked in the making of this card! Just some pretty Painted With Love DSP, the Sweetheart TIEF (Annual Catalog), the Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF (be prepared to see a lot of this one, y’all! Based on our forecasts, we purchased enough Fast Fuse Adhesive to ensure that we would be able to support high demand during the Fast Fuse 5-Day Sale. Due to challenges sourcing this product however, we knew our Fast Fuse Adhesive supply would be large—but limited. We also knew that in order to support you and customers through the life of the 2017–2018 annual catalog, we needed to set up a low inventory threshold and be prepared to end the promotion early. Stampin’ Up! Blends, Basket Weaves and Lovely Wishes

Happy happy Hawwmp day, y’all! Mid-week on our way to another Continuing Resolution and/or government shutdown. Whattheheckaretheydoing?!? Sheesh. I think THEIR pay needs to stop if they don’t get it together.

So. There. My rant for the day.

Now. For my card. I used a technique that I saw in a Stampin’ Up! video (you can see it right here) to make a pretty background. The Lovely Wishes stamp set lent it’s pretty flowers for the embossing. Stampin’ Up! Hanging Garden Charming Cafe for Stamp Ink Paper #136

Happy Tuesday, y’all – and welcome to another Stamp Ink Paper challenge!

We were playing with a theme this week – called Cabin Fever. As I thought of what to do for y’all to embody this theme – my eye fell upon the growing stack of seed catalogs that come this time of year! And I knew – vegetables! This is the time of year when it’s still too cold to start those gardens – but we want to – so badly!! I don’t have a set filled with tomato, pepper and squash plants – so, I pulled out a couple of pretty stamp sets that embody the beauty of flowers (and the butterflies that flock to them!) in Spring – Hanging Garden and the Charming Cafe bundle. Stampin’ Up! Bird Banter Belated Birthday

Mornin’, y’all! Monday arriveth again. I saw on the news the other day that this is the least productive day of the year – many employers give their folks the day after Super bowl off – cuz they ain’t gonna do much anyway! Makes perfect sense to me. These days, I’ll take any excuse to have a 4-day week! There were some good commercials, didn’t you think? We enjoyed watching Eli Manning do the Dirty Dancing scene with you Beckham, Jr – and the Alexa-lost-her-voice commercial was one of our favorites! And the game was darned good, too – I enjoy watching when it’s not a rout. Two outstanding teams this year!!

So, my card today uses the Bird Banter stamp set – one that I haven’t played with before. And I used it, with the addition of some Sale-A-Bration Bubbles & Fizz DSP, to create a cute little belated birthday card. Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette & More on Barn Wooden Textures

It’s Sunday, y’all. And…it’s Super Bowl Sunday!

I don’t really care much about the game – I’m pretty sure Tom Brady is playing and then some other team? But – I do enjoy the commercials. Not half-time so much, unless it’s Carrie Underwood or Brad Paisley.

Now, I know there are folks who DO like to watch the game and since it’s this evening, I’m going to cater to them (and to me – cuz…commercials!) and we’re going to skip tonight’s video. Sorry – but…I really just think this is what we need to do! Which means that this isn’t a sneak peek – it’s the full mugilicuddy!

I made a fun little card with the beautiful images in the Petal Palette stamp set, cut with dies in the bundled Petals & More Thinlits. The background is made from strips of Wood Textures DSP. Take a look-see:
