Well – it’s Sunday! Yesterday was fun – if loooooooonnnggg! – and I met some new folks and made new friends! And made some fun projects!
Today’s card is another Christmas card – sorry. Can’t help it very much!
This one uses the new Bells Are Ringing and the bundled Detailed Bells Dies. Plus the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder and a touch of Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:
Good morning, y’all! Yes – it’s Hawwmp Day.
But – more importantly – it’s September 11.
Please take some time today to REMEMBER. We must never ever forget, my friends. Take a few minutes of silence – particularly at the times the aircraft hit the buildings – 8:46….9:03….9:37…and 10:03. Think back to where you were – think of the days afterward and the eerie silence of the skies. Of watching the television in horror and…disbelief. Of feeling insecure within the borders of our country.
Never. Forget.
Okay – now. On to less weighty subjects…
So – my card today is a fun one that uses the baby wipe technique! I used it to create a Fall-themed Thank You card – or a Thanksgiving card – with the Beauty & Joy stamp set and some Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:

My card for you today is another Sneak Peek from the 2019 Holiday Catalog – which is just over a week away! This one uses the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set. Something cool about this set is that it coordinates with the All-Around Wreaths dies – which you can get bundled with the Tidings All Around stamp set! Yep – one die set…TWO stamp sets that coordinate! Winner winner! For this card, I also used the new Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. Take a look-see:

And the colors are from the Fab Friday color challenge.
I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock that I embossed in the new Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder (coming 4 Sept – find it in the Spooktacular Bash Suite!) and then matted on Blueberry Bushel for the card front.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a piece of Petal Pink paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I cut a square of Whisper White and used my Stamparatus to stamp the wreath using the image in the Seasonal Wreaths stamp set. I placed the stamp in the first “corner” of the square panel and stamped it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I turned the panel 1/4 turn to the right (clock-wise) and stamped again. I did that two more times to complete the wreath!
I colored the wreath with my Light and Dark Call Me Clover and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I also used my Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover and Grapefruit Grove Stampin’ Write Markers.
I added some faux “stitches” around the edge with my Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from Seasonal Wreaths, is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on Whisper White and cut with another Stitched Rectangles Die. I used a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front.
I added a bow tied with Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon and adhered with a Glue Dot. A Gingham-Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequin in Grapefruit Grove and a few Pearl Basic Jewels finished it off!
On the inside, I added second sentiment from Seasonal Wreaths in Blueberry Bushel on a Whisper White panel. In the corner, I stamped the floral bough image once in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink – coloring it as I’d done on the front.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat and into my Call Me Clover card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another floral bough from Seasonal Wreaths on the front…
…and some more of the Petal Pink Subtles DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! LOVE this wreath – made from four stamped images from Seasonal Wreaths! But – there is ALSO a full wreath image in the set – and that one can be cut out with the die in the All-Around Wreaths Dies! And – the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder adds such a sweet and classy bit of texture! I hope you like!!

I have some proof that Finn has Super-Canine Powers.
So yesterday morning, the Man decided to hold the strategically superior high ground…literally…
He stared at me – looking really quite splendid! – as I peeked around the corner to take his picture.
He’s a Star. It’s his due.
Several minutes later – with no fanfare, very little noise and no indication to him – I ever-so-stealthily went into the tack room (which he absolutely, positively could NOT see from his vantage point!) to get the peppermints for the girls.
One point two nanoseconds later…
Super ear-balls. Super schnoozle.
Just sayin’.
