UPDATE on FRIDAY, 3 Feb 23: So….apparently, when I was adding the PDF tutorial last night – I somehow managed to delete 90% of the post instructions! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I have no idea how – and JUST realized it! Open the PDF (the link is actually right in the MIDDLE of the post 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️) and all the directions for making this card are right there – just without…all my extraordinarily witty commentary! 😉 Sorry, guys!! 🙁

Good morning and happy…Friday! I’m a little off my days this week – Miss Sonya cleaned yesterday (thank goodness!) instead of today so…I spent all day yesterday thinking it was FRIDAY! But it wasn’t. 🤷‍♀️

When we went to Maui, we did some snorkeling, which was wonderful! Wayne and Lance, though, ALSO went S.C.U.B.A. diving and saw some sea turtles – the pictures were pretty awesome (but..I wish I hadn’t been so claustrophobic in the mask/tank thingy and could have gone, too!). And I know I’ve been pretty reticent about my love of Maui…or..not. So – the Sea Turtle set, when it was released in the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini, caught my eye right away! I pulled it out today and found a couple of good sentiments in the Happy Labels stamp set to go with! Take a look-see:

Stampin’ Up! By The Seaside Bay Sneak Peek Sympathy Card

Good morning on DAY 1 of 2023!! Did y’all make it to midnight?! Did you party hearty?

Does anyone even SAY Party Hearty anymore? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

We did not. To either question. Are you shocked?? Y’all know me pretty well, so I’m betting you’re not even a little surprised!!

I’ve got the black eyed peas soaking and will pull some greens out of the freezer – so we’ll have THAT little business taken care of. And we have a ham that we’re going to smoke with some new rub and glaze that sounds yummy. So…we’ll start 2023 off with a bang! Hope you’ve got YOUR greens and peas ready to go, too!

The card I made today is not a Happy New Year card. That horse has left the barn, y’all! 😉 It’s a sympathy card – no, I didn’t have a need for one, but…it’s never a bad thing to have on hand! It features the pretty Seaside Bay bundle with the coordinating By the Bay 6″ x 6″ DSP. Take a look-see!

Stampin’ Up! By The Seaside Bay Sneak Peek Fun Fold with Video Tutorial

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well. Ours is…going! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

One of the new suites coming on 5 Jan 2023 – in the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog – is called By The Bay – and it’s one that caused a breakout of ooohing and ahhhing by pretty much the entire room at our OnStage event in Jacksonville! So – it’s been “burning a hole” in my pocket, as it were. Today – I pulled it out! Well – technically YESTERDAY, but…you know what I mean! I used the Seaside Bay bundle and By The Bay Specialty DSP to make a very cool Triple Diamond Step Fun Fold. Take a look-see:
