Ours is cooking along – I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. Might have gotten a bit ahead of myself on the treadmill yesterday morning. But – gotta get back at it!! I feel so triumphant when I get done and so durned…guilty!!…when I don’t do it!
Must say – if anyone had told me six-seven months ago that I’d be anxious to get back on the treadmill….I’d have flat ROFL my hiney off!!
So – let’s talk about something way less nauseating than a treadmill. Like….Christmas cards!! As it happens, I have one to share with you today – that uses the Holly Jolly Christmas bundle and some Night Before Christmas DSP. Take a look-see:

My card today is a Christmas card. Makes perfect sense to me since it’s about a 1000 degrees Kelvin outside this week. Next I’ll be making chili!! Georgia hasn’t fully complied with the It’s Fall memo! 😉
I used the Holly Jolly Christmas suite – including the stamp set and bundled Jolly Season Dies, plus the Night Before Christmas DSP. Take a look-see:
Good morning, my peeps! Hope your weekend is going well! Mine has been uneventful – which is good. But…not awfully productive. Which is…not so good! 😉

I used the Holly Jolly Bundle with some Night Before Christmas DSP and Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack stickers to create a fun 2019 Holiday Catalog sneak peek for you. Take a look-see:
I – rather loosely! – used the sketch from this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch for the layout. 🙂
I started with some Santa Hat paper from the Night Before Christmas DSP (available on 4 Sept), matted on Cherry Cobbler for the card front.
I took a small piece of Very Vanilla and, using a Sponge Dauber, inked it up with Pretty Peacock. Then I matted it on Cherry Cobbler and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I pulled out the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack and picked a likely sentiment – that’s just ONE of the fun Christmas-y stickers in the pack, y’all! – and adhered it at the bottom of the panel.
With the Jolly Season Die, I cut Santa and his reindeer from Soft Suede and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I added a Cherry Cobbler rhinestone from the new Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the sentiment banner. Then, cuz…hello? Rudolph?? I colored a small Pearl Basic Jewel with my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and added it to the lead reindeer’s schnoozle. 😉
Finally – I added a bunch of new Snowflake Sequins with teensy dabs of Liquid Glue – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set in Pretty Peacock on a Very Vanilla panel. In the bottom corner, I added Santa in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink – then colored him and his toys with my Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light and Dark Soft Suede, Light Pretty Peacock and Ivory Stampin’ Blends. I also used my Cherry Cobbler and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Markers.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Soft Suede card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another Holly Jolly Christmas Santa on the front…
…and some more of the Santa Hat Night Before Christmas DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! What a fun suite! Night Before Christmas – with the Holly Jolly Christmas bundle and wonderful DSP – not to mention the Memories & More Card Pack (and there’s notecards and envelopes, too!) – is a great addition to your Christmas card-making repertoire! I hope you like! 🙂
