The layout for the front of the card hails from this week’s Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge…

And the flowers and colors work perfectly with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration challenge!

This fun-fold came to my attention on this week’s SplitCoastStampers Wednesday Tutorial, so I thought I’d give it a go!
I started with a full 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Just Jade card stock and scored it with my Paper Trimmer. Basically – I scored at the half-way mark on both the short and the long sides. Then I cut out one quadrant of the card stock.

I cut the additional 1/2″ off the third quadrant – and the fun-fold was ready to go! Easy peasy!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere a striped piece of the new Flowers For Every Season DSP to a Purple Posy mat.
Using Glue Dots to adhere the trim in the back, I wrapped some new gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack three times.

I stamped the pretty floral image from the Jar of Flowers set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut it with the largest oval Stitched Shapes Die. Then I colored it with my Stampin’ Blends in: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Combo Packs, Dark Balmy Blue, Dark Purple Posy and Dark Mint Macaron. Then I popped the oval onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

I stamped a sentiment from A Grand Kid in Poppy Parade on Whsiper White and cut it with the next-to-smallest rectangle die in the Stitched So Sweetly Die set, then adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I tied a double-length of the gold Forever Greenery trim in a simple bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
Finally, I added some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done.

On the inside flap, I matted another Flowers For Every Season paper on a Purple Posy mat and then onto the flap with Liquid Glue. A second sentiment from A Grand Kid, in Poppy Parade on Whisper White – cut with the largest label in Stitched So Sweetly – was all the flap needed!

For the inner liner, I stamped Happy Birthday – from A Grand Kid – in Poppy Parade on Whisper White. I added a Purple Posy-matted piece of the Flowers for Every Season DSP with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Purple Posy mat and into the card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another fun sentiment from A Grand Kid in Poppy Parade on the front. I used my Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers to color the letters…

…and more of the Flowers for Every Season DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila! There’s so much to love about the florals from the Jar of Flowers set – and that’s even WITHOUT using the bundled Jar Punch! It just makes a project sing….SPRING (or SUMMER!!). And the A Grand Kid set – a sentiment stamp set – is perfect for Grandparents, but… many of the sentiments are great for non-grands!

And if you want some paper that spans the seasons – look no further than the aptly-named Flowers for Every Season DSP! Poinsettias and pines, sunflowers, daisies, roses….it’s all here!

I hope you like…no…LOVE! And are making plans to add all of this to your stash at the earliest opportunity!
