Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies & Zinnia Birthday Card

Good Monday, my friends!!  Hope you had a great weekend and that your week is going to be as good as mine is going to be!  I’ll be leaving on Thursday for Houston for our Stampin’ Up! OnStage event – and I can’t wait to see everyone.  And meet some of my team that I’ve only met thru Zoom!!  It’s going to be so much fun!

Speaking of fun – my card today is an easy and quick Birthday card featuring the Cheerful Daisies bundle (from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog) and some gorgeous tone-on-tone texture from the new Online Exclusive Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

And the color palette is from the Color Throwdown Challenge.

I made a quick video on how to make this one – and posted it Instgram this morning.  You can see it on YouTube right here!

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that I embossed in the new online exclusive Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered to a Pebbled Path mat with Liquid Glue.

I used the branch die from the Cheerful Daisies die set to cut out two Lost Lagoon branches.  I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the large Cheerful Daisies outline flower twice in Pebbled Path ink.  I used the fill image in Petal Pink ink.  Then the center is Lemon Lolly.

I cut them both out with the die from the Cheerful Daisies set and then, using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhered both of them to the card front.

On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Pebbled Path ink.

I used the handy label die from the set to cut out the sentiment.  Then I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.

Finally, I added some Petal Pink Adhesive-backed Swirl Dots (this is an Online Exclusive product, too – part of the wowza A Little Latte suite!) and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped the Cheerful Daisies flower in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pebbled Path mat and into my Lost Lagoon card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Cheerful Daisies flower on the front…

…and I stamped a second flower image – using the same colors – on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  It’s SO easy to lose sight of the wunnermus stamp sets and dies in the Annual Catalog but…try to keep them in mind!  Like this Cheerful Daisies bundle!  I love the easy-to-make flowers – especially that little one I used on the envelope flap! – and the sentiments are beautiful AND useful!  And – the new Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder is really one of the best I’ve seen in a long time – and I LOVE (and have!) all our embossing folders! It’s an Online Exclusive product, so…if you love it, too – then you’ll want to pick it up right away.  Not all the Online Exclusives will be re-stocked when they run out and I’d hate for you to miss this one!

Finn Fan Fix

It’s a sure sign that Spring is on the way!

Finny wants to spend most of the day snoozing on the golf cart in the car port.

Then he moves to the driveway about dinner time – so we see him….

…and serve dinner.

And then – he goes right back out to snooze on the driveway.

It’s not just ME that loves longer days!!
