Good morning! I hope your week is going well for you – and that maybe you’re having some Fall weather. We’re having some…kind…of Fall! It’s actually pretty typical – 82 a couple days ago and….in the forties this week. Chilly enough for multiple long-sleeves to go outside. And I had to close my windows again. 😡 If I have to turn the heat on – I’m going to be a little miffed.
So – my card today is another Sneak Peek at some new Online Exclusive products that Demonstrators have had the chance to play with EARLY! Yes. Yes that WAS a shameless plug for our amaze-balls 35th Anniversary Starter Kit Special! 🥰
Anywho – I pulled out the Meandering Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP and coordinating Garden Meadow bundle to make TWO pretty birthday cards for you! Take a look-see:
The fun layout is from the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge this week.
I started with two pieces of the Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ DSP (you’ll be able to get this on 7 November!). The more scenic one would become the angled panel.
Using my Paper Trimmer – I made the first angled cut on the more scenic piece. Where that cut IS is not that critical – but – you’re going to end up with a 2 1/4″ wide strip – so be thinking about what part of the paper you want to have on your card.
Next, I lined the cut edge up on the 2 1/4″ mark on the trimmer – and made the second cut.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the CUT edges of the now-oddly-angled piece of DSP to two narrow strips of cardstock – either Crushed Curry or Melon Mambo (you’ll see that card in a minute!) – leaving about a 1/16″ inch reveal.
I adhered the panel into place on the second piece of Meandering Meadow DSP using Liquid Glue. Using Paper Snips, I trimmed the excess cardstock ends that were hanging off the edge of the card front. Then I adhered the panel to a cardstock mat – again, either Crushed Curry or Melon Mambo.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Garden Meadow flower image twice in Garden Green ink. I colored the leaves with the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker and the flowers with the Crushed Curry or Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker.
Then I cut them both out with the coordinating die in the Garden Meadow set.
I adhered one of the die cuts to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Then I tied a simple bow with two lengths of 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue.
On a piece of the Meandering Meadow DSP, I stamped the Garden Meadow sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool.
I cut out the sentiment with a Stylish Shapes label die and adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I adhered the second flower die cut with double-stacked Dimensionals, added about FIVE of the sweet new Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds (coming on 7 Nov) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I used Liquid Glue to adhere the left-over DSP corner to the corner of a Basic White panel with Liquid Glue.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry or Melon Mambo mat and into my Granny Apple Green card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Garden Meadow flowers stamped and colored twice on the front…oh look! TWO cards!
…and more of the Meandering Meadow DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ DSP is…in a word…STUNNING! The scenic sides are amazing and will work with SO many colors!
Just find a prominent color in the design of your choice and use that for the mat and ink colors and…boom! You can make so many of these with a pack! The coordinating Garden Meadow stamp set and dies let you do all sorts of occasions and you’ll be able to cut out all the stamped images PLUS a cool gate and some fun garden tools, too!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Yesterday – on Gotcha Day for the Man, another package arrived in the mail!
It’s hard to see – thanks to the great care taken by the Postal Service – but…this one is addressed to Finn Deatherage.
I had his UNDIVIDED attention on the way back to the house.
Regardless of the turmoil that the package went thru on it’s way to him – the contents were unscathed! Including the cookie!!
The cookie was first…I DID break it into a couple of smaller pieces!
While he was gone I got the second part ready for him.
I am SURE he’ll find that toy inside!
Let the games begin!
Good think we’re both old enough to drink! 🙂
Nice of him to share!
Thanks, Aunty Karen! We’ll see if this one is as LOVED as the carrot! It probably needs a little….tenderizing first!

I’m so glad Finn got mail on his special day! Tequila?? LOL
Yeah – he’s a teetotaler but…exceptions must be made! 😂😂. Thanks, Faith! 🙂
Beautiful card – as always!
And a second celeb for Gotcha Day…yay! Milk it, Finny. 😍
Yup – it’s Gotcha Day WEEK! Thanks, Mom! 🙂
