Stampin’ Up! Countryside Crafting with You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

Our colors for this challenge drove me right to the amazingly gorgeous Countryside Inn DSP (still on sale at 15% off – but…only today and tomorrow!!).  It was a too-easy pick!  And I paired it with the super fun Crafting with You stamp set and die bundle.  Take a look-see:

Can you guess our colors??

And I picked several elements for this card thanks to the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week! I went across the top (Craft Item – Patterned Paper – Die Cut) and down the middle (Patterned Paper – Flower – Enamel Dots).  I personally think you could squint your eyes and call this CAS but…I’ll let y’all be the judge of that! 🙂

I started by adhering a piece of Night of Navy paper from Countryside Inn DSP to the front of a Night of Navy card base using Liquid Glue.

I used the fourth-from-largest Deckled Rectangle Die to cut two more pieces of the DSP, both of which I adhered with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Crafting with You sentiment in Balmy Blue on a piece of Basic White and cut it out with the embroidery hoop die.  I cut another hoop from Misty Moonlight cardstock and one more from yet another pattern of Countryside Inn DSP. That’s a lotta embroidery-ing! 🙂

I adhered the DSP circle (the inside of the embroidery hoop die cut) and the white hoop to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Misty Moonlight hoop and sentiment circle…

…and popped it onto the card front.

I used the scissors die from Crafting with You to cut a pair from Gold Foil – then I adhered them to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the yarn in Smoky Slate and the basket in Misty Moonlight.

I colored the yarns with my Light Boho Blue, Light Misty Moonlight and light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.  Then I lined the stamp up and stamped it again in Smoky Slate – to make the “yarn strands” more apparent – it was pretty easy with this photopolymer set!

I cut both images out with their dies and adhered them to the card front with Dimensionals.

I added a few Misty Moonlight gems from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack.

Then – had to do it – I added a Loose Daisy with a dab of Liquid Glue.  It was…NECESSARY!! 😎😎  And the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Crafting with You sentiment in Balmy Blue on a Basic White Deckled Rectangle die cut.  I added a small flower in Boho Blue next to the sentiment.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card – and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the larger floral in Boho Blue on the front…

…and more of the Countryside Inn DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Is this not just the prettiest paper ever??  I love it – there are NO bad designs!  And – there’s still time for you to stock up on it AND save yourself 15%!! And all us crafters – card-makers, painters, sewers, knitters and crocheters alike – need to have the Crafting with You bundle in our stash.  It’s simply too perfect!
