Oh. Card – right! This is a clean-and-simple little number – yes I CAN do CAS when I put my mind to it! – that showcases the gorgeous Quiet Meadow stamp set! I framed it with a Radiating Stitches die cut! Take a look-see:
I played along with two challenges for this one – the Just Us Girls challenge is why it’s a clean and simple card!
And the soft color scheme is from the MFT Color Challenge.
I started by cutting the largest Radiating Stitches rectangle die from a piece of Basic White cardstock. Actually – I cut out TWO so I’d be ready for later!
Using a Blending Brush, I added Pool Party Ink to the inside of the panel – keeping the color more towards the edge than in the middle.
I stamped the Quiet Meadow image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I colored the image with my Granny Apple Green Watercolor Pencil for the stems and leaves, and the Dark Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend for the flowers. I added some extra shading to the flowers with a Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencil.
I cut out the little heart with the Radiating Stitches set from Basic White and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I tied a small, simple bow from some Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Quiet Meadow sentiment in Shaded Spruce and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes die.
I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added three Pool Party Glossy Gems and the card front was done!
For the inside, I added some Pool Party ink to that second Radiating Stitches die cut (using the Blending Brush). Then I stamped a second Quiet Meadow sentiment in Shaded Spruce. I stamped a Lemon Lolly Quiet Meadow flower over the top – and added another Pool Party Glossy Gem.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got some Pool Party ink blending and the Quiet Meadow floral in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front. For this one – I only colored the flowers in Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight, leaving the stems and leaves plain…
..and I stamped the Quiet Meadow flower in Lemon Lolly on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love the Quiet Meadow stamp set – it’s quite simple, but so pretty! And the Online Exclusive Radiating Stitches set is a great way to add a quick little BOOM to your card without adding more layers or colors! 🙂
