Yesterday was a rough day for us here in the Deatherage household. And it sorta knocked the stuffing out of me and put a pretty huge damper on my creative mojo.
So – I’ll ask for your forgiveness for no card. And your indulgence.
One of our family left us today. Our big Bo – went to the Rainbow Bridge.

LAST weekend, one of my friends (Chris of the Matt and Chris twins I’ve told y’all about!) asked his sweet girlfriend to marry him and, not being a stupid girl – she said YES!! Whoo-hoo!! So – I needed to make a card for them – one not to froofy (for him), but….sweet enough for her!

I – sadly – needed a pet sympathy card. My friend had to put their older kitty, Sam, to sleep earlier this week. Sam lived with them, because his human Dad had agreed to adopt another kitty – who has turned out to be…less than thrilled with being a sibling. Definitely needs to be an only child! So…Sam went to live – with my friend. He saw his Dad a lot, so he was quite happy. And, he was a very nice boy.
Anywho…I needed a card for his Dad. I combined the Nine Lives stamp set images with the right sentiments from Happy Tails – then added in some All My Love DSP. Take a look-see:

Yes, that’s right – all my Shares goodies arrived yesterday! We got the tree and wreaths down and cleaned the house (thank God -and Wayne! – it was giving me panic knots in the my throat!). And now – today and tomorrow are all about making big paper into smaller paper and long ribbons into shorter! If you ordered a share – I’m hoping to get them in the mail on Monday or Tuesday! 🙂
My Mom asked me for a card for a friend of hers who’s going thru a rough time right now – and wanted woodsy/mountainy. Along with my shares goodies…I MIGHT have ordered a FEW more products from the new catalog – and I’ve used them today to make her card. So…I actually used elements from both the Let It Ride stamp set and the Host set called Here Comes the Sun. And…I also pulled in the Crackle Paint Background stamp to really send it over the top!
