Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Guess what?
What, Mary?
Well – one week and about 6 hours from that day’s blog post going live…we’ll be headed to the airport! Whoo-hooo!
Gelato. Baklave. Tiramisu. Dolmas. Lasagna. Spanakopita. Spaghetti Carbonara! Tiramisu – yes, I said it twice. IT. IS. THAT. GOOD!
See? Been practicing my Greek and Italian! I think I’m ready!
My card today uses the new Tasteful Textures stamp set and bundled Tasteful Backgrounds Dies – paired up with some beautiful Woven Threads DSP. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.
And the color scheme – ALL the new 2019-2021 In Colors! – is from the Fab Friday challenge!
The Woven Threads DSP was a pretty obvious choice for this color challenge – so…I took the obvious route – and matted a piece on Pretty Peacock for the card front.
Next up is a piece in Rococo Rose – also matted on Pretty Peacock and adhered with Liquid Glue.
I cut a narrow strip of Terracotta Tile paper from the Woven Threads DSP and cut one of the pretty designs from it using the Tasteful Backgrounds Dies. Then I matted it on Pretty Peacock with Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a piece of new Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around that panel – securing it in the back with Glue Dots. I tied a faux bow with a second short length of the same ribbon. Then I popped the whole thing onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped a sentiment from the Tasteful Textures stamp set in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White and cut it with a Stitched Shapes Framelits oval. I used Liquid Glue and a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front.
I added some 2019-2020 In Color Faceted Dots – in Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a flourish image from Tasteful Textures in stamped-off-once Balmy Blue in the center of a Whisper White panel. Over the top of that, I added a second sentiment in Pretty Peacock.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and into my Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another stamped-off-once Balmy Blue flourish – I put it under the address area! – on the front…
…and I picked one of my Woven Threads DSPs and added it to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Wow! The Tasteful Textures stamp set and bundled Tasteful Background Dies seem to have just been made to coordinate with the Woven Threads DSP, don’t you think? I love how this one turned out. I hope you like!

Eggs.
They’re what’s for breakfast!
He starts off pretty delicately.
Well – as delicately as one Man can get with ginormous furry hands.
Then, though – He. Gets. Busy.
Just like I eat breakfast! 😉
