Well – it’s the last day. 🙁  For our cruise AND for Double Peppermints (just sayin’!).

It’s been wonderful and folks are already looking forward to Maui.  Whaaaa?

I’m guessing by the time you read this, we’ll be somewhere over the Atlantic bucking the jet stream to get back stateside!

My card today is destined for the lady who has been taking care of the girls while we were gone.  Which means – it needed horses and woodsy-ness.  And that naturally meant…Let it Ride and the Woodland Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and stamped the pretty pine trees image from the Let It Ride set all over it in Mossy Meadow.  Then I embossed it in the Woodland Embossing Folder.  I cut it to size and matted it on Mossy Meadow using Liquid Glue.

I pulled out a couple of lengths of the linen ribbon in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo pack and used SNAIL to adhere them criss-crossedy onto the card front.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Let It Ride horse head onto a piece of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP and then cut it with a Stitched Nested Labels die.  I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the sentiment from Mossy Meadow card stock using the Well Written Die and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

A couple of Bird Ballad Trinkets leaves – adhered with Glue Dots – set the stage for a Linen Thread double-loop bow topped with a double-length simple bow from Mossy Meadow Linen Thread.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I stamped a second Let It Ride horse image in Tuxedo Black onto a Crumb Cake panel.  In the middle, I added a stamped-off-TWICE Mossy Meadow line of pine trees.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the grazing horses in Tuxedo Black on the front…

…and more of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP – with a Mossy Meadow tree line! – on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I hope that my friend likes this Well Written Let It Ride thank you!  I am ever-so-grateful for the good care I know she’s taken of my ladies while we were gone!  And – I hope you like, too! 🙂
