Happy Monday, y’all!  And – happy last day before a veritable AVALANCHE of new goodies will be available for you tomorrow! We’re talking…new catalog, new online exclusives, new Hot Foil products, new KITS!  BOOM-chaca-laca!!  You’ve been seeing all the sneaky peeks and I KNOW how excited you are to grab up your faves! But – today is ALSO the final day of the Cardstock & DSP Sale so…you know what you need to do!! 🙂

Today’s card features one final sneak peek!  This one is of the new Poetic Petals bundle – new tomorrow in the Sept 2026 Online Exclusives!  It’s also got some awesome Wood Grain Wonders DSP and die cuts from Perennial Postage (one of my fave die sets!).  Take a look-see:

And the layout was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I did a quick video on how to make this card –  which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here

I started by adhering a piece of Pecan Pie paper from the Wood Grain Wonders DSP (this is backordered right this second but is expected back around the week of 7 Sept!) on an Early Espresso mat for the card front.

From a piece of Early Espresso Wood Grain Wonders DSP, I cut a rectangle using the second-to-largest Perennial Postage die (note: this is the largest of the three smaller dies).

I adhered it on an angle on the card front using Liquid Glue.

Using two dies – a floral and a square die – from the new Poetic Petals die set (coming TOMORROW!!), I cut out a pretty floral square from a piece of Crumb Cake Wood Grain Wonders DSP.

I used the same square die to cut out an Early Espresso cardstock square.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the DSP floral to the Early Espresso square.

I adhered the layered floral to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of the Basic Beige Wood Grain Wonders DSP, I stamped a Poetic Petals sentiment in Pecan Pie ink.  Then I used one of the smaller Perennial Postage to cut out the sentiment.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a little Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added five Crumb Cake Natural Matte Dots and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Poetic Petals sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic Beige panel.  At the bottom, I adhered a 5/8″ x 4″ strip of Wood Grain Wonders DSP using Liquid Glue.  I added another Crumb Cake Natural Matte Dot.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of a Basic Beige card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

I didn’t put anything on the front of my Basic White Medium Envelope (no – it’s true!!) but I did add more Wood Grain Wonders DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Poetic Petals bundle is all about sentiments and these awesome die cuts!!  Add it to some Wood Grain Wonders DSP – cut out a few Perennial Postage die cuts and you’re ready to roll!
