Stampin’ UP! Neutral Welcome Noel Tidings Sneak Peek Gate Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

It’s been a minute since I made a gate fold card so…I decided to go with that this week.  I decorated my DOUBLE gate fold Christmas card with pretty much ALL the new goodies in the Neutral Noel Suite – coming on 1 Sept in the new Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog!  There are two wonderful bundles – the Noel Tidings and Welcome Noel bundles, gorgeous Neutral Noel Specialty DSP and the awesome Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder.  And a few others goodies, too!  Take a look-see:

And – I suspect you’ve guessed our theme!?

I started by cutting two 1″ x 4 1/8″ strips of new gold Metal Effects Specialty Paper (available on 1 Sept in the new catalog) and embossing them in the also-new Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder (part of the Neutral Noel Suite and coming on 1 Sept).

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the two strips to the left and right ends of my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock (keeping a “normal” reveal around the top, bottom and one side) to create the card base.

I used my Paper Trimmer to score a 4 1/8″ x 12″ piece of Basic Beige Two-tone Cardstock at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″.  I folded the two outside score lines as mountains and the two inner score lines as valleys.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered 1 7/8″ x 4″ pieces of the Neutral Noel Specialty DSP (available 1 Sept) to the four gate panels.

On a 3 7/8″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Noel Tidings sentiment (1 Sept) in Pecan Pie ink.  Over the top, I stamped a Noel Tidings pine bough in Mossy Meadow ink.  Then I added a few new Gold Adhesive-backed Dots.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhere the panel to the inside of the Basic Beige gate fold.

Using the third-from-smallest Everyday Arches die, I cut out a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and embossed it in that wonderful Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped…

– A large Neutral Noel house in Pecan Pie ink

– A small Neutral Noel house in Crumb Cake ink

– Three Neutral Noel pine boughs in Mossy Meadow ink

– Three Neutral Noel berry sprigs in Pecan Pie ink

– A Neural Noel sentiment in Pecan Pie ink

– A Welcome Noel pine tree in Mossy Meadow ink

Using the dies in the two bundles, I cut everything out.  And, I used the five-berry die in the Neutral Noel set to cut out a bunch of berries from a piece of gold Metal Effects Specialty Paper. Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the little berries to the die cut sprigs.

I adhered the pine tree to the embossed Everyday Arches shape with Liquid Glue.  Then, using Stampin’ Seal – I adhered a loopy bow of Mossy Meadow Neutral Jute Combo Pack (yep – part of the suite and available on 1 Sept!).

I started adhering pine boughs and berry sprigs with Liquid Glue.  Then I added the larger house with a couple of Dimensionals.  I tucked the remaining boughs and sprigs in – then added the smaller house with a Dimensional.

I cut out a Mossy Meadow wreath using a die from the Welcome Noel set – and adhered it to the large house with Liquid Glue.  Then I added the die cut sentiment with Liquid Glue.

Using Liquid Glue on the back of the Everyday Arch die cut – JUST on the left side! – I adhered it to the left gate of the gate fold element.

Then – using Liquid Glue on the back of the middle panel – I adhered the entire gate fold element to the Mossy Meadow card base – centering it on the panel.

I added a few new Gold Adhesive-backed Dots (these are in the Neutral Noel suite!) and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Neutral Noel pine boughs in Mossy Meadow on the front…

…and again on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I’d forgotten how fun – and easy! – this double-gate fold card is!  Which means the mechanism is quick to do – and then you can spend all your crfaty-ness decorating it!  I’m already in total love with the new Neutral Noel Suite – the two coordinating bundles – Noel Tidings and Welcome Noel – are designed to work together – and they really really do!  Add some stunning Neutral Noel Specialty DSP – plus the other cool things in the Suite – and….boom!  And don’t miss the Metal Effects Specialty Paper – you get in gold, silver and copper – and it’s stunning!

WANT TO JOIN US?

NEW JOINING PROCESS

As part of our new, more streamlined and easy, join process, all first-time demonstrators will receive a surprise Welcome Box—a gesture of appreciation and a warm welcome into the global Stampin’ Up! creative community! I’m going to keep the insides a secret but…there’s some fun goodies to help welcome you to the team!

How the New Process Works

Step 1: Join

New demonstrators will:

  1. choose a team leader.
  2. accept required agreements.
  3. enter a few personal details.
  4. pay the $100 join fee.
  5. click submit.

Step 2: Shop

Once their information has been reviewed and approved (usually very quickly), their Welcome Box ships, and the new demonstrator receives an email with:

  • their demonstrator ID.
  • a coupon code to begin shopping.

About the Coupon Code

  • Valued at $125.
  • Coupon code can be applied to any demonstrator order.
  • Order CAN exceed the coupon code value (I got asked all the time if new folks could go over $125 for their Starter Kit and I hated having to say “no”!).
  • Got a list LONGER than $125?  Easy peasy! Any amount above the coupon code value:
    • receives the demonstrator discount.
    • counts toward the quarterly sales minimum.
    • earns Stampin’ Rewards if it meets the qualifying purchase amount (as long as you’ve opted into the Stampin’ Rewards program).

Additional perk for new demonstrators

  • New demonstrators may add eight free catalogs to any order!
Let me know if you have any questions about the new joining process.  This is a great new process – I love that you’re now going to be able to go over that $125 amount AND that it will automatically count toward your sales!  You can see more information about the perks of being a Demonstrator and a part of our team right here.
