Stampin’ UP! Neutral Noel Tidings Front Flap Christmas Card with Video

Good morning, y’all – happy half-way-thru-the-weekend.  Hope yours is going well – we have gorgeous Fall-in-Georgia weather – a little cool, breezy and sunny. So…perfect!  And we DID do all the things yesterday – mailed Packaging & Envelope Special gifts, VOTED! (🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸), picked up meds at the drugstore, hit Wally AND Sam’s and…that felt like a solid day of it!

My card today is a simple little fun fold – a Christmas card (the fourth in the Twelve Saturdays of Christmas Cards series) – featuring the Noel Tidings bundle and some pretty, coordinating Neutral Noel Specialty DSP!  Take a look-see:

This one was inspired by the sketch at the Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge. I saw fun fold when I saw the sketch! 🤷‍♀️

I started by adhering a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Pecan Pie Two-tone Cardstock – dark side up – to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.

Then I cut two 1″ x 4″ strip of Neutral Noel Specialty DSP and adhered them to each end of the card front using Liquid Glue – making “normal” reveals on each side and the top and bottom.

I cut a 3″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and scored and folded it at 4 1/4″ to make the small card (the front flap).

I tore a piece of Crumb Cake Two-tone Cardstock down to 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ (“ish”) – with the dark side up as I tore it.

Using a Small Blending Brush, I added Crumb Cake ink around the edges.

I stamped the pine bough image from Noel Tidings several times in Mossy Meadow ink – from bottom right up to top left.  Then I added some “twigs” and pinecones in Pecan Pie ink.

Also in Pecan Pie, I stamped the one-berry and two-berries image a few times in Pecan Pie and then colored them with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the front of the Mossy Meadow card base.  Then I adhered the small card base to the card front – splitting the difference between the DSP strips – using Liquid Glue.

I tied two lengths of Pecan Pie Neutrals Jute together in the middle – and frayed the ends before adhering it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Crumb Cake Two-tone Cardstock – light side up – I stamped three Pecan Pie pinecones and a Mossy Meadow sentiment.  I cut them out with the pinecone and longest label die from the Noel Tidings die set.

I used the twigs dies in the set to cut out two from gold Timeless Metallic Specialty Paper.

Using TRIPLE stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the sentiment over the Jute twine.

I tucked the pinecones and twigs under the sentiment, using Liquid Glue to secure them, and the small card front was done!

For the inside of the small card base, I stamped a second Noel Tidings sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on a 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  In the corner, I stamped Mossy Meadow pine boughs, Pecan Pie twigs, Pecan Pie pinecones, and Pecan Pie berries (which I colored with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the small Mossy Meadow card base.

For the back of the card – I stamped more pine boughs, twigs, pinecones and berries on a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the back of the flat card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Noel Tidings pine boughs, twigs and pinecones on the front…

…and more of the Neutral Noel Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is a cute little fun fold – not difficult at all – and it’s just a fun one to make and decorate!  I love all the “pine-y” images in Noel Tidings and it’s handy to also have dies to cut everything out – including label dies that fir the pretty sentiments!  The one-sided Neutral Noel Specialty DSP is really pretty with its gold embossed images!
