My good-for-any-occasion card today uses a fun little stamp set in the Occasions catalog called Flowering Desert. Take a look-see:
One of my favorite things about where I live is the sheer volume of the frog song we get to hear every night. Folks – they do NOT say ribbit!! They speak about a 100 different frog languages and they let loose with joyful abandon every night. I so look forward to the time of year we can sleep with the windows open so I can listen to them as I fall asleep.
Please do not take this to mean that I have, have had or will ever have a pet frog…Want to pick up and pet a frog…Want to touch a frog in any way. I just like having them around so I can enjoy their musical talents! 😉

Good morning! Welcome to Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. We’re having a lovely little Spring-snap here in GA! We even opened all the windows and doors on Monday – it was really nice to air the house out a little bit! The Man spent much of the day outside enjoying the sunshine and breeze! Would be nice if this lasted until…forever! 🙂
My card today uses a really cool little bundle in the 2019 Occasions catalog called the Florentine Filigree set. The die that is in the bundle, the Florentine Thinlit, is a card-front-sized die that makes a wonderful element for our projects! I put them all together in a few pretty colors and…take a look-see:

Yes, that’s right – all my Shares goodies arrived yesterday! We got the tree and wreaths down and cleaned the house (thank God -and Wayne! – it was giving me panic knots in the my throat!). And now – today and tomorrow are all about making big paper into smaller paper and long ribbons into shorter! If you ordered a share – I’m hoping to get them in the mail on Monday or Tuesday! 🙂
My Mom asked me for a card for a friend of hers who’s going thru a rough time right now – and wanted woodsy/mountainy. Along with my shares goodies…I MIGHT have ordered a FEW more products from the new catalog – and I’ve used them today to make her card. So…I actually used elements from both the Let It Ride stamp set and the Host set called Here Comes the Sun. And…I also pulled in the Crackle Paint Background stamp to really send it over the top! No one needs to tell me about bugs in the peas, okay? I candled every single pea and there’s not a one to be seen! 😉
