Happy FriYAY, y’all! Hope you’re headed into a fun weekend! And – maybe? – you’re anticipating the arrival of your new Stampin’ Hot Foil System!? I hope so – cuz that’ll mean you’ll be all ready to make the card I have for you today!
This one uses the new Botanical Glow Hot Foil bundle – plus a sentiment from the Simply Leaves set – for a beautiful thank you card. Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Barely Blush cardstock to the front of a Pecan Pie card base.
Using the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Die, I foiled the large leaf image in Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock.
I inked up the large leaf from the Botanical Glow stamp set with Peaceful Pine ink and stamped it onto the panel. Note: it is NOT designed to “fit” in the embossed leaf image.
Then I adhered the panel to the card front – at an angle – with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the Hot Foil system again to foil the Botanical Glow image on the dark side of a piece of Very Vanilla Two-Tone Cardstock. Then – I took a deep breath and used Detailed Scissors to cut out the leaf.
I snipped the large leaf into two pieces and adhere them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I tied a modified double-loop Linen Thread bow (wrapping only three times, versus four) and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Simply Leaves sentiment in Peaceful Pine and cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes banner die. I adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Simply Leaves sentiment in Peaceful Pine on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped the Botanical Glow leaves in Peaceful Pine.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Botanical Glow leaves in Peaceful Pine on the front…
…and again on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Okay – this is going to be one of my faves in the new Hot Foil System “family”! I LOVE the giant Botanical Glow leaf stamped image AND the foiled image, too – it’s got all the things! And Simply Leaves was ALREADY one of my faves!
