Good morning, y’all! I’m typing this – fast as I can while I have batteries! – on Thursday afternoon, in a dark and quiet house! We lost power around dinner time and…it hasn’t come back yet! So…thank goodness for my phone’s hotspot and a pretty well-charged battery on the laptop!! 🙂 Hopefully we’ll get some juice back soon – cuz…we will ALLLLL be too hot to sleep otherwise! 😳
My thank you card today is a quick and pretty sneak peek of the new Simply Leaves stamp set and the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders! They’re both new – and will be available to y’all on 1 July as Online Exclusive products! Take a look-see:
I started by embossing the dark side of a 3 1/8″ x 6″ piece of Cajun Craze Two-Toned Cardstock in the fall-leaves folder in the new Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folder (this fun set will be available on 1 July!). Then I adhered it to a 3 1/4″ x 6″ piece of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper.
I arranged it diagonally on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Cajun Craze cardstock, adhering it with Liquid Glue. Then, using my Paper Trimmer, I cut the whole thing down to 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the panel to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper. Then I adhered the whole thing to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped one of the smaller leaves from the Simply Leaves set in Pecan Pie ink and in Golden Glow ink. Using scissors, I fussy cut both leaves.
On a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, I stamped a Simply Leaves sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with white Basics WOW Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool.
When it was cool, I cut it out with the label die from Stylish Shapes and then trimmed it down to 2″ long – with the banner on the right end. Then I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stuck the two leaves together with a little Liquid Glue, then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a little Linen Thread bow with a dot of Liquid Glue and added three Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Simply Leaves sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped some of the leaves in Pecan Pie and Golden Glow ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base, adhered the card front with Liquid Glue and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Simply Leaves leaves on the front…
…and again on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Wow – even without using the bundled Simple Leaf Punch, this Simply Leaves set is so pretty! The punch fits the larger leaves and the small leaves are super easy to snip out with your scissors! And the three embossing folders in the new Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders are wonderful – leaves, candy canes or bats & stars! It’s got you covered! I know you’re adding them all to your list to grab on 1 July! 🙂

Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ (card base, scored and folded at 5 1/2″); Stylish Shapes Banner die cut (sentiment – cut down to 2″ long)
2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″ (first mat for card front); 3 1/4″ x 6″ (mat for diagonal panel)
Pecan Pie Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (second mat for card front)
Cajun Craze Two-Toned Cardstock: 3 1/8″ x 6″ (embossed diagonal strip)
Basic White Cardstock: Stamped and fussy cut Simply Leaves leaves (x2); 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inner liner)
