Good morning and happy Friday! We’ve been having a nice visit around the peninsula – went up to Sequim and to Port Angeles. Took some detours here and there – generally played tourist! It’s been really nice! I hope your week has been going as well as ours!
Today’s card is from one of my fave Suites – the Moonlit Flora suite. The gorgeous paper with the same name and all the die cuts and images and sentiments from the Fern & Flora bundle just make me happy! I also used the Perennial Postage set – which is ALSO one of my faves! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the Sunday Stamps card challenge!
I started by matting a piece of Golden Glow Moonlit Flora DSP on a Secret Sea panel for the card front.
Using the next-to-largest Perennial Postage die, I cut out a Secret Sea panel. I embossed it in the gorgeous Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Next, I used a smaller Perennial Postage die…
…to cut out two rectangles from Moonlit Flora DSP. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel on the left side – and Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel on the right side.
Using the dies in the Fern & Flora set, I cut out a Peaceful Pine cardstock leaf, a Peaceful Pine fiddlehead from 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Paper and a leaf from Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Paper.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the leaves to the card front.
I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Fern & Flora sentiment in Secret Sea ink. Then I cut it out with the smallest Perennial Postage die.
I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally, I added five Secret Sea Dewdrop Embellishments and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second Fern & Flora sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the parallel lines image twice – once running up-and-down, then I turned it 90 degrees and stamped it again without re-inking. Over it, I stamped the Fern & Flora leaf in Peaceful Pine ink. Then I added one Secret Sea Dewdrop Embellishment.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Golden Glow card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Golden Glow parallel lines image (twice) and the Peaceful Pines leaf on the front…
…and more Moonlit Flora DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Boy, it’s pretty obvious why this new Fern & Flora bundle – and the coordinating Moonlit Flora DSP – AND the pretty Dewdrop Embellishments! – have become a runaway favorite since they were first released! The whole suite is just amazeballs!
I hope you like!
