Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all! Hope you’re having a good week! My card today features the new Silly Safari stamp set – a cute jungle-y little number from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog! It’s set atop some new Painterly Pears DSP – a new Online Exclusive that you can snag on 1 July! Take a look-see:
I pulled some elements from the Inspo List over at the Festive Friday challenge! I used Black, Brown, Ribbon, Animals and Animal Themed Sentiment.
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by adhering a piece of the new Painterly Pears DSP (coming soon in the Online Exclusives release on 1 July) on a piece of Basic Black cardstock for the card front.
I used the largest Stylish Shapes square die to cut out a Basic White square.
On the square – I stamped the giraffe from Silly Safari in Early Espresso ink. I colored him with the Light & Dark Pecan Pie, Ivory, and Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blends.
Then I used the stamps from Silly Safari to stamp around the giraffe with Old Olive fronds, Mossy Meadow leaves and Pecan Pie hashmarks.
With all the stamping done, I adhered the square to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using Stampin’ Seal+ I adhered a loop-d-loop figure 8 bow from a length of new Mossy Meadow & Gold 1/4″ Ribbon (another Online Exclusive coming soon!).
On a 3/4″ strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Silly Safari sentiment in Pecan Pie. Then I snipped a banner end and adhered it over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Silly Safari sentiment in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I added the fronds, leaves and hash marks across the bottom of the panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Silly Safari images on the front…
…and more of the Painterly Pears DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! In the jungle – the mighty jungle – the giraffe parties tonight! This party animal is just ONE of the cuties in the new Silly Safari stamp set. And you can get it bundled with the new 1 7/8″ Circle Punch, too! Boom! And I’m already in love with the Painterly Pears DSP – it’s got so many gorgeous designs – like this tone-on-tone foliage image. I know you’re excited to get that on 1 July!!
