Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day! Here we go – over the top and into the downhill slide to the weekend! Hope your work-week (or retired-week!) is going well!
I caved in to the siren call of the new – and adorable! – Bee My Valentine bundle with the adorable Bee Mine DSP. I’d been kinda trying to NOT use it too much since y’all can’t get it right yet but…then I realized…you actually CAN get it right now! Take a look-see at the card (I added some fun sentiments inside – from the Biggest Wish set – to turn it into a birthday card) – and then see below to find out how you can get it right now!
The simple layout is from the Sunday Stamps challenge!
I started by matting two super-cute patterns of the Bee Mine DSP on Parakeet Party. Then I adhered the smaller panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the bee stripes from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Tuxedo Black. Over the top, I stamped the oval body in Crushed Curry. I also stamped the antenna in Tuxedo Black.
Then I used the Bee Builder Punch to cut out both images.
I sort of got an idea of where the bee was going to sit on the card front and then stamped one of the three little bee-faces from the set in Tuxedo Black. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the punched-out antenna.
Again on Basic White, I stamped two wings in Petal Pink and punched them out with the Bee Builder Punch.
I adhered the wings to the back of the bee body with Liquid Glue – then adhered her to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Bee My Valentine sentiment in Sweet Sorbet on a strip of Basic White and adhered it to a Lemon Lime Twist mat.
I popped the matted sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added a little Petal Pink heart – from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers (part of the Bee Mine suite and available in January!) to the sentiment and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped one of the Biggest Wish sentiments in Lemon Lime Twist on a piece of Basic White cardstock, Then I added the second sentiment in Sweet Sorbet. And finished it off with a little flower from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and into my Sweet Sorbet card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the sweet little buzzer on the front…
…and some more Bee Mine DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This Bee Mine Suite is simply too stinkin’ cute! I love a punch bundle to start with – and this Bee My Valentine bundle is just as fun as it can be. The coordinating Bee Mine DSP is so bright and cheery – with little buzzers a-buzzing all over!

Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (x2 – mats for card front and inner liner); 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ (mat for center DSP panel); 5/8″ x 3 1/2″ (mat for sentiment)
