Stampin’ Up! Autumn Rustic Crate Blessed Beyond Measure Card

Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day!  Up and over and on the way down to the weekend!  And – the END OF SEPTEMBER.  What?!?  Yep – it’s almost October!  With PSL, Halloween and leaves falling out the trees!  PLUS – just found out that we have a HUGELY cool new Starter Kit special starting on 3  October – I’ll be sharing it with you in the next day or two.  But…the bottom line is this: if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! (🤞🤞🤞) then…DON’T!  At least not yet!  You’re gonna WANT to take advantage of this special – I promise!! 🙂

In the meantime – while you wait on tenterhooks – let’s look at a pretty, Fall-ish, thank you card!  It sports the beautiful All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP and a sentiment and image from the Rustic Crate stamp set.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Autumn Rustic Crate Blessed Beyond Measure Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

This easy layout came from this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge!

And several elements came from the Festive Friday Inspo List….Twine, Sequins, Layers, Heat Embossing…

This is super quick and easy so…buckle up!

I started by adhering some copper-embossed Vanilla paper from All About Autumn on a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock for the card front.

Then I matted four Copper Clay pieces of the DSP to four Pretty Peacock mats and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front. Tip: start by adhering the top and bottom strips – then add the two middle strips – splitting the difference!

I stamped the pretty floral image from Rustic Crate in Versamark Ink on a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock, sprinkled it with Copper Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

When it was cool, I cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

The sentiment, from Rustic Crate, was stamped in Copper Clay on a strip of Very Vanilla.  Then I snipped banner ends with my Paper Snips.

I used double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment over the bow.

Finally – I added some coppery Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the same Rustic Crate floral image in stamped-off-TWICE Copper Clay in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Rustic Crate floral in full strength Copper Clay on the front…

…and some Pretty Peacock paper from All About Autumn on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I loved this sketch – it really let me use a ton of the beautiful All About Autumn DSP – and it’s ALWAYS worth showing off!! A quick copper-embossing of the Rustic Crate floral image plus a simple sentiment and…done!  Gotta love it!

He knows she’ll do SOMEthing that needs his stern correction! 🙂

Such a pretty card! Love the colors and the copper accents are perfect! Poor pony, she’s just doing her thing and that crazy dog keeps barking at her for no good reason at all. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

Yep – but she wants to scratch her tail on the side of the stall and that makes him CRAY CRAY! Which she FULLY KNOWS!! Thanks, Amy! 🙂

Fabulous card, love the layers and how you used that gorgeous color combination. Thanks for sharing with us at Festive Friday!

  3. So pretty, Mary! Love all of those fabulous layers and the embossed detail really pops. Thank you so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
