Stampin’ Up! Light the Sky Forever Forest Masculine Congratulations Card with a Video Tutorial

Good morning…good morning…good MOOORNING! Did you SING that!?  You KNOW that I did!! 😎😎😎. Happy Friday!  Hope that you’ve got something fun planned for the weekend!

My card today is a flat out celebration card – and it would work nicely for a man’s birthday – or a promotion or….whatever you need!  I used the Light the Sky stamp set and the Forever Forest Dies and some…Stargazing DSP.  Take a look-see!

I started with a star-strewn piece of Stargazing DSP.  I gave it a good rub with my Embossing Buddy and then stamped the large firework image from Light the Sky twice in Versamark Ink.

Then I sprinkled the images with white Embossing Powder and heat set them with the Heat Tool.

I let the panel cool COMPLETELY – and then rubbed it again with the Embossing Buddy.

Using a smaller Light the Sky firework image, I stamped it four times in Versamark Ink, sprinkled them with gold Embossing Powder and heat set them with the Heat Tool.

I let the panel cool and then adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss mat for the card front.

Using the mountain die from the Forever Forest set, I cut out a mountain from a 5 1/8″ long piece of Night of Navy cardstock.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut to the bottom of the card front.

I cut some Forever Forest trees from Night of Navy cardstock and added them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, I stamped the Light the Sky sentiment in Versamark Ink – sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder and heat set it.

When it was cool, I used my Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment.

I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a Light the Fire sentiment in Night of Navy on a Basic White panel.  I added three fireworks in three sizes – two in full strength Blackberry Bliss ink and one in stamped-off-once Blackberry Bliss.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the three Light the Sky fireworks on the front…

…and more Stargazing DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So – I won’t kid ya – this Light the Sky bundle was not at the top of my “gotta have it” list!  But…boy, I am loving it!  The fireworks images are really really fun!  And – the mountain and trees from Forever Forest are…perfect against the embossed fireworks and stunning Stargazing DSP, don’t you think?! 😎

Finn Fan Fix

Finn brought a small stick home last night.

Just a teeny twig, really.

He was pretty disappointed that he couldn’t bring it in the house! 😂

Super card! That set is on my wish list for sure. Fireworks just mean celebration, so it’s great for birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, graduations, etc. Poor Finn is so abused, neglected and unloved—-NOT!!! lol
