Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Abundant Beauty Birthday Card

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  This week is starting well – we’ve had a CLEARANCE RACK refresh!  Whoo-hoo!  Be sure to check it out – I’ve seen some pretty fun new goodies – with BIG savings!! 🙂

My card today uses one of my favorite new products – the Abundant Beauty Masks (love!) – from the new Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog.  And…the Biggest Wish stamp set from the Annual Catalog.  I used them to make a beautiful birthday card.  Take a look-see:

And – some elements were inspired by the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! I went across both diagonals (Stencil – Free – Foliage and Circle – Free – Matching envelopes) and across the top and middle.  Okay – the only thing I did NOT hit is Plaid – and one might say that my matching envelope got that one, too!  BINGO!

I temporarily adhered a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to my work surface and then, using the Abundant Beauty masks and some Blending Brushes – I colored the flowers.  I started with Flirty Flamingo all over the petals – and then added Melon Mambo closer to the centers.

I switched to the leaves mask and, starting with Lost Lagoon and finishing with Pretty Peacock, I added two of the three leaves.

Finally – I made the centers with Early Espresso.  This is a two-step thing – I did the first part – the more “open” portion – with a lighter application of the Early Espresso.  Then the more detailed part – the “seeds”? – I got a little more heavy handed!

Near the bottom flower – I stamped the Biggest Wish “Happy” in Pretty Peacock ink.

With that done, I used the fifth-from-smallest Deckled Circle die to cut out a “spotlight” in the card front.  I made a mat for the circle with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the two pieces together.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo mat.

With Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the matted “spotlight” back into position – lining up the images.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the second part of the Biggest Wish sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink.  Then I fussy cut the sentiment.

Using Liquid Glue on the left side – and a Stampin’ Dimensional on the far right end (under the “y”) – I adhered the sentiment to the card front.

I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies and Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems (from the 4-pack) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added the flowers and a leaf in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel – using all the same colors as on the front. I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies (they are SO cool – cuz they’re adorable AND flat!!).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat and into my Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Abundant Beauty masked flowers on the front…

Finn Fan Fix

Yesterday, after dinner, I was in the craft room finishing up a couple of things and Wayne said he and Finn were headed out to start feeding Cady.

About 10 minutes later – out I headed.

To see…

Waitin’ on the Mom.

Guess we know where his loyalty lies, huh?

🥰🥰🥰
