Stampin’ Up! Hope You Know Autumn Leaves Sympathy Card

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  AND – happy T-1 Day to the Go-Live for the new Sept – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog AND some amazing new Online Exclusive DSPs!

For today – I reached back to the Hope You Know stamp set – from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. And I paired it with some new product – coming tomorrow – the Autumn Leaves bundle and All About Autumn DSP!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this sympathy card is from the MFT Sketch Challenge this week!

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere two strips of woodgrain All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP onto a Pretty Peacock mat.  I did this to conserve as much of this wonderful paper as I could!

I matted some Copper Clay paper from the All About Autumn DSP onto a piece of Pretty Peacock and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere a Very Vanilla Stylish Shapes die cut circle to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the Autumn Leaves dies – I cut out a “leaf vein” from Pretty Peacock Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper. I also cut a Pretty Peacock leaf from the All About Autumn DSP.

I adhered the “vein” to the leaf with Liquid Glue, then adhered the whole thing to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

I tied a Half double-loop Linen Thread bow (only wrapping TWO times around four fingers and TWO times around two fingers) and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I stamped a Hope You Know sentiment in Copper Clay ink on a piece of Very Vanilla and cut it out with one of the label dies in the Autumn Leaves dies.

Using double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the sentiment over the bow.

I added some Moody Mauve Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Hope You Know sentiment in Copper Clay on a Very Vanilla panel.  In the corner, I stamped the Autumn Leaves leaf in Pretty Peacock.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Autumn Leaves leaf on the front…

….and more of the All About Autumn DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Hope You Know stamp set is so great for so many occasions…

…and the All About Autumn DSP and Autumn Leaves bundle creates a beautiful backdrop, don’t you think?
