Stampin’ Up! CAS Medley Mix Sneak Peek Congratulations Card

Good morning and happy Labor Day!  Are you doing something fun today?  Or is it just another Monday for you?  We’re pretty much sticking to the house – Cady does have a mani-pedi scheduled today so…spa day for the pony! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I’ve got a clean and simple card for you today.

You okay?  Did you fall off your chair?!  Did you feel the earth shift on its axis?  MARY made a CAS card?!? 😳😳😳

Yes.  Yes I did!  And it’s ALSO a sneak peek of a stamp set from the new catalog which goes live in like…THREE days!  It’s the Medley Mix stamp set – and it’s a lot of fun! And I think this card would work well as a card for a guy, too!   Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

And the wonderful color palette is from the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.

This one is quick and easy so…buckle up!

I started by using some Liquid Glue to adhere a strip of Copper Clay 2023-2025 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel.  Then I added a strip of Misty Moonlight Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP over the top.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat for the card front.

On a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the star image from Medley Mix three times in Pecan Pie ink.  Then I added the “X’s” three times in Copper Clay.

Just so you know – this stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack from the current 2023-2024 Annual Catalog!  Do you already have that one!? 🤞😎😎😎

I matted the panel on Misty Moonlight and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I inked half of the flower-dy circle image from Medley Mix with the Pecan Pie ink pad and the other half with Misty Moonlight.  That’s easy to do with this photopolymer set!

I stamped it on Basic White cardstock, cut it out with the 2nd-from-smallest circle Stylish Shapes die and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a Medley Mix sentiment in Misty Moonlight on Basic White and cut it with a label die from Stylish Shapes and adhered it with a couple Dimensionals and some Liquid Glue.

I added some Misty Moonlight gems from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Medley Mix star image in Pecan Pie and the “X’s” image in Copper Clay in the corner of a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and into the Copper Clay card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got Pecan Pie stars and Copper Clay “X’s” on the front…

…and more Misty Moonlight Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Medley Mix is for sure a fly-over stamp set – I bet you totally missed it, didn’t you??  It’s on page 57 of the new Mini, OBTW!  But – I think it needs a look-see cuz it’s totally cool.  AND – it coordinates with the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack from the Annual Catalog, which you may already have!  Bonus!!

I appreciate it when a new set comes out that utilizes something that I already have and extends the use of the other stamp set, too. This time of year we need some clean and simple cards for the “ordinary” TYs, BDs, etc. as we have so many holidays over the fall/winter months that we send cards out for, too. This card “fits the bill” in a great way. Thanks for sharing!

I know – it makes me happy to get more bang from my bucks!! I’m glad that you like this one, Gail, thank you! 🙂
