Good morning and happy Tuesday! You know that we’re only a week and change from the go-live date for the new Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog, right?! Are you so excited? Can you just not hide it?
You totally sang those last two sentences, didn’t you!? 😂😂
It’s good to be getting back into the swing of things and I’ve got a pretty card – with a sneak peek from the new catalog for you today! It’s perfect for winter and features the pretty Magical Meadow stamp set and bundled dies – plus some gorgeous Winter Meadow DSP! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from this week’s MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge.
This one has the added benefit of being quick and easy to put together, so…buckle up!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere two panels of the Winter Meadow DSP (coming on 6 Sept) to a Moody Mauve panel for the card front. Note: there’s a little gap between the panels – but don’t worry about that, it gets covered with the ribbon! 🙂
Using the next-to-largest square Stylish Shapes die, I cut out a Moody Mauve square and adhered it in place with Liquid Glue.
Using Glue Dots to secure the ribbon in place, I added it across the gap – and over the die cut square.
I used the pretty dies in the Magical Meadow set (also coming on 6 Sept in the new catalog) – I’m a sucker for pine boughs! – to cut out a Pretty Peacock pine bough and a leaf from some Lost Lagoon Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the two die cuts to the card front – snipping a little bit off the stem of the Lost Lagoon leaf, first.
On another piece of Winter Meadow DSP, I stamped a Magical Meadow sentiment in Moody Mauve. Then I used the second-from-smallest Deckled Rectangles die to cut it out.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the sentiment to the card front.
I added three Lost Lagoon gems from the new Faceted Gems Trio Pack (coming soon in the new catalog!) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Magical Meadow in Moody Mauve on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I added a bough from the set in Lost Lagoon ink and a leaf in stamped-off-once Pretty Peacock.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Moody Mauve mat and into my Lost Lagoon card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the two leaves from Magical Meadow on the front…
…and more of the Winter Meadows DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Isn’t this the prettiest Suite? Yep – Winter Meadow is an entire Suite of wintery goodness! Anchored by the Magical Meadow bundle and rounded out by the Winter Meadow DSP – it’s just gorgeous!
