Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn Leaves Double Time Card

Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day!!  How goes the week?  Can you believe that we’re headed into September already?!  Yikes!

So – here’s a fun fact.  There are – officially (we counted!) – only 17 Saturdays until Christmas!!  That little thrill of panic you just felt?  You’re welcome.  😉  But – I’m working on a plan to help you out!  Watch for info in the next couple days and…plan to join me on Saturday for my YouTube video!! 🎄🤶

Today’s card is All About Autumn!  It even uses the new DSP with that name – and some stamped and die cut leaves and a sentiment from the coordinating Autumn Leaves bundle!  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! All About Autumn Leaves Double Time Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

The layout for this one is from the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge!

I started with a piece of pumpkin-strewn paper from the All About Autumn DSP – which you’re going to be able to get SOON in the new catalog.  From the corner, I used the 5th-from-smallest Deckled Rectangle die to cut out part of the panel.

I used the 6th-from-largest Deckled Rectangle (so…one larger than I just used on the DSP) to cut a Copper Clay mat.  Note:  I actually cut it out of the same 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Copper Clay that I was going to use to mat the card front – saved some cardstock AND some postage weight.  Score!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the larger piece of the DSP to that 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Copper Clay cardstock.  I matted the smaller die cut on the Copper Clay Deckled Rectangle mat.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered the smaller matted panel in place on the card front – aligning the design.

I colored a piece of Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon with my Light Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend and then used Stampin’ Seal to adhere it in a loop-de-loop on the card front.

On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the Autumn Leaves leaf in Cajun Craze and in Pumpkin Pie and cut them out with their matching dies.  I adhered them over the ribbon with Liquid Glue.

I used my Copper Clay, Old Olive and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends to scribble all over on a piece of Vellum cardstock.  When it dried, I used one of the small leaf dies in the Autumn Leaves die set to cut out a little leaf.

I tucked it in to the leaves already on the card front using a little Liquid Glue on the stem.

On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped a larger sentiment from Autumn Leaves in Copper Clay.  Under it, I added a second sentiment in Pumpkin Pie.

I used the smallest Deckled Rectangle die to cut out the sentiment and popped it in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Autumn Leaves leaf in Cajun Craze in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped it again on a sticky note and fussy cut the leaf – to make a mask!  I placed the mask over the stamped leaf and then stamped the leaf again in Pumpkin Pie ink. I removed the mask – and…boom!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat and into my Pumpkin Pie card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the two stamped leaves on the front…

…and I used the rest of the piece of pumpkin paper from All About Autumn on the envelope flap.

Finn Fan Fix

Finny and Wayne are eating healthy these days.

Lots of fruit.

Cantaloupe has to be cut up and put in the fridge!

Finn loves cantaloupe.  He prefers his straight up – no silly smoothies for him!
