Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics Joy of Noel Sneak Peek Christmas Card

Good morning and happy Monday!  I want to crow to the world about my most generous friends and customers…you guys gave so generously to my fundraiser!  Down below I’ve posted the results – and I’ll be back in just a bit with the winners of the TWO Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machines!  Whooo-hooo!

For my card today, I went back to Christmas – I’ve opened that floodgate and it’s hard to shut it again!  Especially with such beautiful things to play with as the Joy of Noel bundle, Christmas Classics stamp set and…Festive Specialty DSP.  These are all part of the stunning new Joy Of Christmas Suite in the Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog.  Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I started with the pine bough from the Christmas Classics stamp set – this is such a beautiful set, and I can’t wait for you to be able to get it on 6 Sept when the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini goes live!

In both corners of a Very Vanilla panel, I stamped the pine bough a bunch of times in Mossy Meadow ink.  When it was full enough, I stamped the bough a few more times in each corner in Crumb Cake ink.

I stamped the sentiment – from Joy of Noel – in Cherry Cobbler ink.

Then I embossed the panel in the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and matted the panel on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

I made the popped up letters by adhering a square of gold Festive Specialty DSP (avail 6 Sep) to a square of Foam Adhesive.  Then I used the NOEL die in the Joy of Noel bundle…..to cut out the four letters.

I removed the backing from each of the letters and adhered them to the card front.

Using little dabs of Liquid Glue and my Take Your Pick tool, I adhered five little gold music notes from the Loose Holly Gems & Sequins (a part of the Joy of Christmas suite in the new catalog) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped Christmas Classics sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped the pine bough in Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake inks.  I added a few more gold notes from the Loose Holly Gems & Sequins.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Christmas Classics pine boughs in Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake on the front…

…and some stunning Cherry Cobbler and gold-note-strewn Festive Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  If you’re looking for traditional Christmas colors and images and sentiments, then the Joy of Christmas Suite is the place to start!  With the Christmas Classics and Joy of Noel bundles – plus two beautiful papers – the Festive Specialty DSP that I used here PLUS the beautiful Joy of Christmas DSP – you are going to be in Christmas project heaven!  I feel like y’all going to want this on your list for first thing on 6 Sep when the catalog goes live, don’t you think??
