Stampin’ Up! So Refreshing & Delightfully Eclectic Thank You Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning and happy Friday!  Doesn’t it feel like I was JUST typing that like…two seconds ago?!  Sheesh! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. It’s all just flying by – I’ll be headed to the airport for Las Vegas (home of our Stampin’ Up! Leader’s Event in August!) before I know it! 😳😳😳

I know it’s going to be hot like lava in Las Vegas in August and it’s pretty stinkin’ “warm” here right now! – so…today’s card is a cool sip of lemonade!  Made with the So Refreshing stamp set and bundled dies – with an assist from perfectly perfect Delightfully Eclectic DSP!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge this week.

And I was inspired by The Paper Players theme challenge, too! You can eat strawberries – and if you squeeze lemons and make a lemon meringue pie…you can EAT them, too!  And – we can debate the CAS part of the equation.  I confess I totally missed that piece of it! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I started by adhering two pieces of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the Pretty Peacock mats – and then I adhered the narrow matted panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the die in the So Refreshing die set, I cut out a Lemon Lolly blanket and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the pitcher and two glasses images from So Refreshing in Smoky Slate.  Then I stamped the “liquid” (the fill images) to all three in Lemon Lolly ink.  I stamped lemon slices in Daffodil Delight ink “inside” the pitcher.  Then I cut all three of them out with their matching So Refreshing dies and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the dies in the set to cut out Old Olive and Pretty Peacock leaves, three Bubble Bath strawberries and three Old Olive strawberry leaves.

On Basic White, I stamped the two-lemon outline image in Daffodil Delight, added the fill in Lemon Lolly and then cut it out with the matching So Refreshing die.

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the two little leaves to the card front.

On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the So Refreshing sentiment in Calypso Coral.  Using Paper Snips, I angled each end and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a small simple bow from vanilla Baker’s Twine and adhered it next to the sentiment with a dab of Liquid Glue.

I adhered the die cut lemons with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the little strawberry leaves to the top of the three strawberries and then tucked them into the collage.

I added a bevy of Brushed Brass Butterflies and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the flower spray from So Refreshing at the bottom of a Basic White panel.  First, I stamped the flowers outline in Calypso Coral.  Next, I stamped the stems/leaves image in Pretty Peacock.  And finally, I added the flowers fill in stamped-off-once Calypso Coral.  Tip – that order seems to make getting everything lined up a little easier!  I finished with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and into my Bubble Bath card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the So Refreshing flower spray on the front…

…and more of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Can’t you just imagine that first frosty sip!?  The So Refreshing stamp set has fun two- and three-step images – with the addition of the bundle die set to cut them – and more! – out.  And the Delightfully Eclectic DSP is a HUGE pack of paper – 48 sheets in all! – with some beautiful designs (something for every project!).
