Stampin’ Up! A Video Tutorial Sneak Peek in Blue

Good morning – I’m typing this on Friday evening – using my phone hotspot for internet.  Our house internet has been out for about 3 hours now – with a “sliding ETIC” from XFinity.  Sliding ETIC, you ask?  Yep – it’s when someone is working on something and they say it’ll be fixed in an hour.  The hour comes – and…well…looks like maybe….two more hours.  Two hours passes and…lo and behold…not fixed…but we’re SURE it’ll be ready in just a couple more hours.  The Sliding ETIC.

Oh – ETIC = Estimated Time in Commission.

I am pathetically grateful that it’s the internet and NOT the power – being without AC tonight would be…BAD.  Well – it would mean a hotel stay for this girl and her furry kid, that’s for sure! 😂😂

Regardless – I’m also happy that I wasn’t needing to do a “full” post – heavy with photos – OR a video!  Hotspots just won’t handle that!

I am ASSUMING the Internet will be back tonight and so we’ll be able to hang for a little while over on my Stamps-N-Lingers YouTube channel!  I’m planning to go live at 7pm Eastern – with a sweet birthday card for you.  Here’s a sneaky peek!

I think it’s pretty and it’s got some of my fave colors!  Do you know what it is?? 😉

Come check it out!  Tonight.  7pm Eastern.  Right here!

AND – ALABAMA! It’s YOUR weekend!

Arkansas sales tax holiday starts Saturday; Computers, phones added to list of eligible items | KARK

For those of you living in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia…you’ve got sales tax holidays in the next few weeks!

And – even better –  it turns out that SOME items in our Stampin’ Up! Catalogs qualify for the sales tax holidays!  The list of sales tax holidays by state and items in that state that qualify are listed below (click on the image to open up a full-size printable document):

Just a caveat: you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! DURING the tax holiday period in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind this is a STATE sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

If you live in one of those states, whoo-hoo for you!  Have fun shopping tax free during your holiday!

Here’s the Deets!

Earning Period: 6–31 July 2023

Ordering Deadline to Earn: 31 July 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (MT)

  • Earn a $5 coupon for every $50 spent (before shipping and tax).
  • All coupon codes will be emailed right after a qualifying purchase has been made. Customers can shop, purchase, and earn coupons as a guest if they provide a valid email at checkout. However, customers are encouraged to create an account on our online store.
  • If a participant earns multiple codes from a single order, they will receive one email with multiple codes. If they earn multiple codes from multiple orders, they will receive separate emails for each code earned.
  • All order types qualify for this promotion. Phone and email orders still require an email address.
  • Orders started before the promotion begins will not count toward earning coupon codes. For example, if you add items to your cart before 6 July and wait to purchase until that date or later, then those items will not qualify towards earning coupons. Finn Fan Fix

When Miss Sonya comes – Finn and I try to stay in whatever part of the house she’s not working in so that we’re out of her way.

Usually, when I’m still in the kitchen or my craft room, the Man is in the middle bathroom where it’s cool.

As Sonya moves forward – we retire to the bedroom where I can work and he can “help” me.

Typically – he settles on the floor on the other side of the bed – directly in front of the fan.

So – I was a little surprised yesterday when…

…he decided to spend a little time in his bedroom! 🤷‍♀️
