Stampin’ Up! In Sweet Symmetry Friendship Card

Good morning and….Happy Happy Hawwwwwmp Day!  THIS week, I’m not too anxious for the weekend cuz it’ll mean our trip is half over!  We’ll be headed to Kauai this weekend, though, so…I don’t guess it’s TOO awful, right?!? 😉

Today’s card uses the fun In Symmetry stamp set along with a little Sweet Symmetry DSP.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Fab Friday sketch challenge this week.

I started by adhering a piece of Sweet Symmetry DSP to a Just Jade mat with Liquid Glue to make the card front.

Next, I cut a Basic White rectangle.  Across it, I stamped the flower image from the In Symmetry set in Calypso Coral and Bumble Bee ink.  Tip – do the one in the middle first – then eyeball the separation for the other two flowers! 😉

I added Just Jade stems and leaves – this is a photopolymer set so it’s easy-peasy to line everything up!

I adhered the panel to a Just Jade mat and onto the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a length of new Just Jade & Gold 3/8″ Braided Ribbon to the card front – I frayed the ends a bit cuz it’s cool! 😉

I stamped the sentiment from In Symmetry in Night of Navy ink on Just Jade, cut it with a Scalloped Contours label die and then popped it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A silver round from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials on the sentiment label finished off the card front!

On the inside, I added a second In Symmetry sentiment in Night of Navy on a Basic White panel.  Then I added a Calypso Coral heart and the flower in the corner!!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Just Jade mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the In Symmetry flower and hearts on the front…

…and a little more Sweet Symmetry DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Such a sweet little stamp set – and there’s the matching Symmetrical Stems Border Punch that you can get bundled with it for a 10% saving!) – In Symmetry is one you might be tempted to overlook.  But…don’t!  Look what fun you can have with it – especially when you factor in the matching Sweet Symmetry DSP!
