Good morning!  Did y’all see the convergence?  We went down into the arena where we had as clear a shot as there is (we’re sort of surrounded by trees).  We saw the two planets pretty close together – but…the pair slipped down below our effective horizon around 7:30.  I’ve seen photos online, but… we didn’t get to see it.  The moon, on the other hand…the MOON!  Oh my.  We had the binoculars and…it was…just amazing.  The detail I could see with just the nocs made me really think a telescope would be cool! 😉

My card for today showcases a new Suite in the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog – the Dandy Garden Suite!  For this one, I’ve got the Dragonfly Garden stamp set, some Dandy Laser-Cut Paper and Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Smoky Slate card stock.  Using random-width scraps of Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP – I adhered the strips on a diagonal using Liquid Glue.

Then I used my Paper Trimmer to cut off the excess DSP.

I stamped the pretty wildflower image from Dragonfly Garden three times in Smoky Slate in the corner of the card front.  Then I matted the panel on Blackberry Bliss.

I pulled out my Dandy Laser-Cut Paper and adhered a round – leafy frame to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Smoky Slate, I stamped the Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Blackberry Bliss.  Then I cut it with my 2 1/4″ Circle Punch.

I added the flurry of dragonflies image in Smoky Slate – and gave it some “faux stitches” with my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker.

Then – I popped the sentiment over the laser-cut frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I snipped a very thin piece of Stampin’ Dimensional – and adhered it to the body of one of the Dandy Laser-Cut dragonflies – then I used that and a little Liquid Glue to adhere the dragonfly to the sentiment.

I used a Glue Dot to add a Ladybug Trinket and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a Whisper White panel.  Then I stamped a couple of large dragonflies in Smoky Slate.  I added the “wing fill” image in stamped-off-once Blackberry Bliss, and some Smoky Slate fly-flurries!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Dragonfly Gardens dragonflies on the front…

…and more Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
