Now – when you pull the trigger, you MIGHT pick the Pampered Pets Bundle as your freebie. And then you might combine it with some Playful Pets DSP to make a cute and simple card for everyday! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one comes from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
I started with some fun paper from the new Playful Pets DSP that I matted on Real Red for the card front – using our new Stampin’ Seal adhesive!
I embossed a strip of the Real Red cardstock in the new Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it with Liquid Glue to the side of the card front.
I cut another strip of the paper – isn’t this a fun pack of paper?!? – and adhered it to the embossed panel.
For the focal art, I first trimmed down a new Square Vellum Doily, then adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I cut and adhered a Real Red Stitched Shapes square with more Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped a sentiment from Pampered Pets in Cinnamon Cider ink. Then I cut it with another square Stitched Shapes die and popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. And – that was totally it for the card front!
On the inside, I stamped a second Pampered Pets sentiment in Cinnamon Cider on a Whisper White panel. Then I added a couple of hearts from the set in Real Red.
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Real Red mat and into my Cinnamon Cider card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a few more Real Red hearts on the front…
…and a little more Playful Pets DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love this new Pampered Pets stamp set – it gives equal time to dogs AND cats!! And the bundled Pets Dies cut out the stamped images….plus it’s got a truly cool little paw-print die!
