My card for today uses a stamp set that – thankfully! – will also be in the upcoming Annual Catalog! Awesomely Artistic really is….awesome!…and I’m glad we’ll get to use it for another year. I paired it with the Butterflies Thinlits (also coming back!) and a new product that we got to see at OnStage. Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Are you kiddin’ me?? Well…no. I’m not. Stampin’ Up! More New Catalog Sneak Peeks!

Okay, guys. I have a piece of really shocking news. I’ll let you sit down.

Okay. Brace yourself.

I don’t have a card to share with you today!

I know. The sound we all heard was me crashing down from the pedestal upon which I know you’ve placed me! 😉

I decided to spend my day getting pictures ready to share. Pictures of the new goodies that you’re going to see in 45 days (yes, I also calculated that number for you!) In 45 days, the new catalog will go live! So I figured you might want some more peeks into the catalog.

I hope I was right!

I also wanted to answer a question for y’all that I got in a private email today. I was asked about Annual Catalog shares. The answer is that – yes, I will be doing paper and embellishment/ribbon shares for the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog! Yippee!! I haven’t quite worked it all out yet – but I can tell you that I’ll be making the official announcement around the beginning week or so of May!

So there’s that. Since I’m sort of on the topic of paper and embellishments and ribbons….I thought I’d share those with you today. So you can start to get an idea of what’s to come! Let’s start with the wonderful Designer Papers – these all work with the product Suites!

Leading the pack – the Pop of Pink Designer Specialty Paper. The paper coordinates with Basic Black, Whisper White, and Melon Mambo. There’s also two gold-foil patterns!

Our next paper is the Irresistibly Floral Speciatly DSP – this paper has a white-on-white floral image on one side and a white-on-white image on the opposite side. Ink it up and the designs show up. Stampin’ Up! Number of Years Shutter Fold Birthday Card!

Home! Had a good flight (other than them running out of food before they got to us!) and a great last chat with Amy. What a wonderful 5 days with her – we had a really good time. OnStage 2016 was fun – we ate some great meals (at the hotel, surprisingly – if you ever go to SLC – try Spencer’s Steak House. Fabulous!) – chatted and laughed and really just had fun!

And, man am I glad to be home!! 😉

Coming soon – like…this afternoon – I’ll be posting a special message with the Retiring Product List. And then….get ready! It’ll be time to get on the stick and get your orders in – things will go fast!

But, for today – I have a super fun card to share with you. It’s called a Shutter Fold – cuz the inside opens and closes like a camera shutter! And it’s really not too hard to make, either. I’ve posted a Tutorial here. So, on this post, I’m going to show you how to decorate today’s card – not how to build the shutter card itself, okay?

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Wishes Just a Note

Good morning! Well, it’s Sunday, so Amy and I are likely beginning the trek back to Joh-ja (that’s Georgia for you yanks!) as you’re reading this. OnStage Live is done for 2016 – and….we found out right at the end that the next event – OnStage Local, this November – will have one venue in Atlanta!! Now, that’s worthy of a whoo-hoo! No travel required!! 🙂 We were so happy to get this news!

We made sure to get our picture taken under the #Onstage2016 sign before we left. I have no idea why I’m holding that flower stick like that! 😉

I’ve got a lot to share with you – starting tomorrow afternoon! Sneak peeks of the wonderful new catalog. Expect a “regular” post from me in the morning and then a second post in the afternoon. That second one will also contain the Retiring Products list and might even announce a new Stamps-N-Lingers ordering special! So be watching your Inbox tomorrow, okay!?

Stampin’ Up! Floral Wings Petite Pairs Get Well!

Heading into the last day of OnStage Live. It’s been a great event – punctuated by lots of Prize Patrols and whoo-hoo-ing – and a great new catalog. I’ll be bringing home a few make-and-takes, that showcase some of the new products, and I’ve taken lots of display pictures – that I’ll share with you with the updates on Tuesday! I can’t wait for you to see the new goodies!

Today’s card is another one that uses a non-Stampin’ Up! pet stamp image. I’ve used this cute little tilty-headed lab before – here’s a link to one, if you’re interested! Stampin’ Up! Botanicals One Big Meaning Thanks!

Hey, ya’ll – it’s Friday, which means that when you read this, I’ll still be asleep! Cuz of how I’m in Utah! At OnStage! I’m typing this on Thursday morning – I know that tonight, after the first session this afternoon – I’m going to be having pizza with a bunch of other SU! demos – and then collapsing in bed with a little light reading…

The 2016-2017 Annual Catalog!!! I’ll be flipping thru and marking everything I want (might be easier and take lots less ink to mark the things I don’t want!) and getting my pre-order in! I’ll probably even do the 2-day shipping – so I can start making projects and giving y’all a peek next week! (Update since I drafted this post on Thursday morning: You’re seriously seriously SERIOUSLY going to love what’s in this new catalog. I can’t start sharing any clues until Monday evening – but….trust me on this. You need this new catalog as soon as you can get your hands on it!!)

Uh-oh…..I feel a Whooo-hoooo!! coming on! Yikes! 🙂 Update: I did, in fact, “whoooo” a few times. Don’t judge. You would have, too. 😉

I wanted to share a couple more pics with y’all from our day on Wednesday. The home office is one of the prettiest buildings I’ve seen. Lots of wood paneling and crown molding. And the center atrium…..

We got a birds-eye view of the distribution canter – where everything in all our orders is “picked” and packed and shipped. Pretty impressive pick-line! And Stampin’ Up! goodies as far as the eye can see!

Amy and I both wished for just 5 minutes on the pick line – if you catch my drift!! 😉

Before we got done, we wandered thru the hall of the convention center. This is how it looked on Wednesday afternoon…..

Stampin’ Up! Grateful Bunch and Petite Pairs Any Occasion card

Good morning! By the time you read this, I should be (all things being equal!) sitting on an airplane with Amy Koenders. Getting ready to wing our way to Salt Lake City. OnStage, baby!

Now, for those of you who don’t know me – I’m not really a “whoo-hoo”-er. I’ve been known to be a “WHOOP!”-er – but only at horse shows and only when my fave gaited Saddlebred is passing in front of me and I’m showing my support.

I. Don’t. Whoo-hoo. At least not “for real” – I might do it in jest…but that’s it!

Miss Amy said a scary thing the other day while we were on a Google Hangout meeting. It had to do with her plan to whoo-hoo on the plane.

A Lot.

I’m very much hoping she was joshin’ me! Otherwise, I’ll be obligated to disavow her. At least for the duration of the flight! Do lots of sleeping or pretending to sleep. Put my headphones in – hopefully there’s a good movie…

We’ll see what happens!
