Stampin’ UP! Neutral Lily of the Valley Birthday Card

Happy Monday, y’all!  Well – today’s the day!  On to the ship we go!  Whoo-hoo!!

While I’m embarking and unpacking, here’s a quick and easy and pretty birthday card for you to make!  It’s got pretty flowers and a sentiment from the Lily of the Valley bundle and just a touch of gingham from the coordinating Valley in Bloom DSP!  And – a little two-toned cardstock, too!  Take a look-see:

Neutral Lily of the Valley Birthday Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

I started by matting a piece of Valley in Bloom DSP on 4″ x 51/4″ piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock for the card front.

Next, I tore two pieces of Crumb Cake Two-Toned cardstock down to 2 3/4″ x 4″ each.  Note: I always tear TOWARDS me – that exposes the white inner-core of the two-toned cardstock.  For one of these panels – I tore with the DARK side up and for the other with the LIGHT side up.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the light-side panel to the card front at an angle.

On the second piece (the one with the dark-side up), I stamped the pretty Lily of the Valley flower stem and two leaves in Pretty Peacock ink.

Using out new White Gel Pen, I colored the flowers on the stem.

Then I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a 5/8″ x 3″ piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock, I stamped the Lily of the Valley sentiment in Versamark ink.  Then I sprinkled it with White Basics WOW Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

I snipped a banner in the left end and adhered it to the card front with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I added some white 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Lily of the Valley sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel.  I adhered a 1/2″ x 4″ piece of Valley in Bloom DSP across the bottom.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Lily of the Valley stem on the front…

…and more of the Crumb Cake plaid Valley in Bloom DSP on the envelope flap.  Which…I totally forgot to take a picture of but…I suspect you can picture it! 😉

Et Voila!  I love this Valley in Bloom Suite SO much!  Whether it’s the pretty colors and designs from the Valley in Bloom DSP or the wonderful stamped and die cut images or the sentiments from the Lily of the Valley bundle – there’s plenty to love!!

I hope you and Wayne are having a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Thank you for allowing us a peek into Finn and Addy’s days. Why is our boy wearing a cone? Is he okay?

Thank you, Carol! And glad you’re enjoying the camera views! Finn hurt his paw somehow and he’s on antibiotics and restricted activity. The cone is keeping him from licking it! 🙁
