Good morning, y’all – and happy Columbus Day! If you’ve got the day off – hope you enjoy it!
I’ve got a quick card for you today – featuring the Amber Autumn Bundle and some pretty Autumn Toile DSP! And it’s a fun layout, too! Take a look-see:
That layout was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by cutting four rectangular pieces of Autumn Toile DSP – and, using Liquid Glue, adhered them to a Cajun Craze mat in a bit of a puzzle!
On another piece of the Autumn Toile DSP – I stamped the Amber Autumn sentiment in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die.
I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the Amber Autumn dies – I cut out two Timid Tiger and two Mossy Meadow oak leaves – keeping the “vein” that pops out of the middle. I also cut two grasses from the wunnermus Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.
Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the leaves on the side of the sentiment circle. I started at the top and worked my way down. See how I stuck those Timid Tiger and Mossy Meadow “twigs” in? They’re like…FREE…filler!!
At the bottom – I adhered a bow tied from two lengths of Old Olive Linen Thread – from the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack.
I added some Cajun Craze & Gold Dots AND some Streaked Dots (I couldn’t pick!) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped the acorn-and-leaves image from Amber Autumn in Early Espresso ink. I colored one with the Light Timid Tiger, Light Old Olive and Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Timid Tiger card base, popped my card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Amber Autumn acorn-and-leaves image on the front…
…and more of the Autumn Toile DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This fun layout would be super cool with almost any DSP, wouldn’t it?! Decorate it for Christmas – for birthdays – for…whatever occasion! The only limit is your imagination. I love it in this Fall mode (it would make a great card for a guy, too, right?!) – with the Autumn Toile DSP setting the stage for pretty die cut leaves – and a sentiment! – from the Amber Autumn bundle. It’s ALL part of the Autumn Toile Suite in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog!
I hope you like!
