Stampin’ UP! Good Times Layered Thoughts Thank You Card

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  Hope your week is going well!  We’re all getting back into the swing of things – and working on getting into a two-dog routine!  Addy is making strides – little short ones, but strides nonetheless! – learning how to be a farm dog!  I do think she’s having fun! 🙂

My Thank You card today is quick and easy – with some Turtle-y Cute DSP setting a very NON-turtle-y stage and the pretty fonts from the Layered Thoughts stamp set adding the sentiment.  The cool Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack adds a few sweet die cuts!  Take a look-see:

Stampin' UP! Good Times Layered Thoughts Thank You Card - Stamps-N-Lingers

I pulled some elements from the Festive Friday Challenge Inspo List this week! I used Red, White, and Something Shiny!

I started by matting some striped paper from the Turtle-y Cute DSP on Granny Apple Green cardstock for the card front.

On a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Layered Thoughts sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink – cheating it to the right side of the panel.

I stamped the second word in Misty Moonlight ink – then I matted the panel on Granny Apple Green and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I adhered the card front to the front of my Misty Moonlight card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the pretty pear from the new Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and adhered it to the card front.

All the die cuts in the Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera pack are adhesive-backed stickers, so I used that to adhere the strawberry and the flowers to the card front.

I added a few Shades of Green Hexagons to the card front to bring a little bling – and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stuck another strawberry and flower from the Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack to a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the black-and-white pear sticker from the Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack on the front.  I colored the sticker with my Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend.

…and I added more Turtle-y Cute DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I am so loving the Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – and really ALL the new ephemera packs – aren’t you?!  They’ve got beautiful die cuts – and having them as stickers really is handy!  And the Layered Thoughts stamp set is destined to be one of my favorite sets – I just LOVE the font of those big words!!
