Stampin’ Up! CAS Changing Leaves & Birch Wood Thanks for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Give Thanks!  Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

My card for this challenge is a simple one – spotlighting the Changing Leaves bundle – with its wunnermus hybrid embossing folder – and the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder.  So – there’s lots of texture.  Take a look-see:

Now – this one goes quick so…buckle up, buttercup!

I started by stamping the Changing Leaves sentiment in Cajun Craze on a Basic Beige panel.

Then I embossed the panel in the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder (one of my fave folders, ever!).

I placed a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock into the Changing Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I added the die and ran the whole thing thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the embossed leaf (it’s cool – the folder embosses AND cuts at the same time).

I added some Earth Tone Shimmer Gems and the card front was done.  See?  Quick & easy.

For the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Changing Leaves in Cajun Craze on a Basic Beige panel.  Over the top, I stamped the leaf from the set in stamped-off-once Cajun Craze.  Then I added another Earth Tone Shimmer Gem.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside my Basic Beige card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Changing Leaves leaf on the front…

…and I stamped the large Changing Leaves leaf image in Cajun Craze on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Wow – is it any wonder that this Changing Leaves bundle has been such an overwhelming favorite!?  I mean…seriously!  And the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder is simply… wunnermus! 🙂
