We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by Helene. It’s beyond horrible. I wish we could go and put boots on the ground – and may yet – but…for now, the best I can do is try to help financially. So…I’m going to do a fundraiser that’ll start right now and run for the same period as the Stamp Sale.

I’ve selected Mercury One as the recipient of our donation. I first saw them on the news and…being a veteran myself, was impressed by their mission and the people involved.

Here’s the deets:

Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds. The only limitations to achievement are those we place on ourselves, and we believe in the goodness and power of the individual to overcome any obstacle.

We are working around the clock with our partners to serve North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, Appalachia, and others. We cannot do this work without you.
