Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree Thank You Notes In Color for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge (my fave!) to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I am always looking for thank you cards (aren’t we all?!) and this one is a great – and simple – one to do!  I just used the new Loveliest Tree bundle – and some 2024-2026 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP to make a quick set of 5 in each of the new In Colors.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s that sketch (you’re going to want to save this one and use it again, I promise!).

This one is quick so…buckle up, buttercup!  I even did a quick video on how to make this one, which is posted on Instagram.  You can see it on YouTube right here!

I started by cutting a large Stylish Shapes banner from a piece of the 2024-2026 In Color DSP

Using Paper Snips – I cut the banner in half cross-wise – and adhered each piece to the front of a Basic White Note Card using Liquid Glue – seperating them a bit to make the banner “longer”.

With a little Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a loop-d-doop of white 1/4″ Diagonal Trim.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock,  I stamped the large Loveliest Tree image in the 2024-2026 In Color for that card.  Then I cut it out with the coordinating die in the bundled Loveliest Tree die set.

I popped the die cut tree onto the card front – and added a few 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems – in the same color!

The sentiment – from Loveliest Tree – is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink – cut with the smallest Stylish Shapes banners and adhered with Dimensionals!

For the inside – I stamped the small image from Loveliest Tree in the In Color for that card – and the card was done!

I stamped the small Loveliest Tree leaf onto the front of the included envelope (you get 20 note cards and 20 envelopes in the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes pack!)…

…and I added more of the 2024-2026 In Color 6″ x 6 DSP to the envelope flap.  Uhm…you’re just going to have to take my word for that one – apparently I did not see fit to take a picture of it. 🤦‍♀️

That’s all there was to it, folks – I put together five of these sweet little cards in a blink!  The new Loveliest Tree bundle is one that harkens back to a long-time fave  – the Lovely As a Tree stamp set (which did NOT include dies!!) – and is really lovely!  I am also loving the new designs in the color family 6″ x 6″ DSPs, aren’t you?!  I thought this leafy design was perfect for this card – but you could use ANY of them!
