Stampin’ Up! A Cuppa Latte Love Sneak Peek Thank You Card

Happy Tuesday, y’all!  Hope you had a great weekend and – if you work – are looking forward to having a short work-week! 🙂

My card today features one of my favorite things – COFFEE!  For me, my day doesn’t start until I’ve had that first cuppa.  It’s kinda non-negotiable!  The Latte Love bundle – a new Online Exclusive product (available 5 March 2024!) – is ALL about the coffee!  It even makes a fun coffee carafe or a French Press with die cuts!  The coordinating A Little Latte DSP has designs that even LOOK like swirly-yummy coffee concoctions!  Take a look-see:

And – I posted a quick video on Instagram this morning on how to make this card – check it out right here!

The layout for this one if from this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge!

I started with some of the A Little Latte DSP that I matted on Pecan Pie cardstock for the card front.

Using the second-from-largest Deckled Rectangle die, I cut a piece of Vellum cardstock and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue – keeping the glue right in the middle, where it would be hidden by the rest of the decorations.

Using the largest banner die in the Nested Essentials die set,  I cut out a second design from the A Little Latte DSP – and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the large mug from Latte Love in Early Espresso ink.  I stamped the coffee image in Pecan Pie and colored the mug with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.

I cut the mug out with the coordinating die from Latte Love.

I used the dies in the Latte Love set to cut out an Early Espresso coffee pot, Basic Black handle and lid (that’s two dies), and some “coffee” from A Little Latte DSP.  I used Liquid Glue to assemble the pot (it goes together so cutely!).

I used Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the coffee pot to the card front – then added the mug with more of the Dimensionals.

On a strip of Petal Pink, I stamped the Latte Love sentiment in Early Espresso ink.  I snipped banner ends and then adhered the sentiment to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I added a few of the new Adhesive-backed Swirl Dots (part of the A Little Latte Suite and available on 5 March) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Latte Love mug-ring image three times in Petal Pink the middle of a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I stamped the splatter image twice – the first time in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie and then the second time without re-inking.  I added a second Latte Love sentiment in Early Espresso.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and into the Petal Pink card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Latte Love mug rings and splatters on the front.  I ALSO inked just the word “Hello” (on one of the sentiments in the Latte Love set) in Early Espresso and added it, too.  Cuz it made me happy.  And – I could! 😎

And I added more of the A Little Latte DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Isn’t that A Little Latte DSP just…yummy?!?  I love it – and I love how it complements the coordinating Latte Love Bundle!  Even if you – or your recipient – aren’t coffee-holics, I think suite really makes for cozy, warm cards that will make anyone smile!

Finn Fan Fix

If I didn’t know – for sure – that there’s no way he can do it, I’d swear he watches himself in a mirror and arranges all his parts in the cutest possible way.

I mean – seriously?

Such a cute card! Love the die cut coffee pot, perfect colors too! As for Finn…I’m sure that he practices those poses quite a bit. Let’s see…how can I look the cutest so that she’ll give me a cookie? 😉

  2. Kate

Nice acknowledgment of that day starter!
    No mirror needed…it’s genetic. 🤗

    • stampsnlingers

I guess – he falls into “cute” without even thinking about it! Thanks, Mom! 🙂

  3. You have done it again! Just when I decide that I really have no use for a particular stamp set (bundle), you go and make a card that really jerks my chain. HMMM. Now I have more decisions to make and my brain is tired.
Being cute is natural…no practice needed, Mom.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – it’s bred right into him! And – sorry your brain is tired! ;). Thanks, Julie! 🙂

  4. The cutest coffee pot and card Mary!
