Stampin’ Up! CAS Magnolia Mood Sneak Peek Birthday for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Birthdays!  Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

My Birthday Card showcases a gorgeous new Online Exclusive – available to customers on 5 March 2024 – called the Magnolia Mood bundle.  It’s a clean and simple card that I think you’re going to like!  Take a look-see:

I started by stamping the Magnolia Mood sentiment in Basic Gray near the bottom of a Basic White panel.

Next up, I used the large detailed floral die from the Magnolia Mood die set to cut out a Basic White flower.  Tip: I cut mine out from the 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock that would become the mat for the card front! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut to a second Basic White panel for the card front.

Using some Stampin’ Seal+, I adhered a loop-de-loop of Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.

I matted the panel on Basic White using Liquid Glue.

On another piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large Magnolia Mood floral in Basic Gray ink.

Using the Light Petal Pink and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, I colored the image.  Tip:  all you need to do is add some color to the shading marks that Stampin’ Up! put in this stunning image – it really does the work for you!

Using the coordinating die in the Magnolia Mood Die set, I cut out the floral image.

Then I adhered it over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a single Petal Pink gem from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems and the card front was done.   Easy peasy!

On the inside, I stamped the small Magnolia Mood floral image in Basic Gray in the corner of a Basic White panel.  I colored it with the Light Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic White mat and into the Basic Gray card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the small Magnolia Mood floral on the front…

…and I stamped a single leaf from the stamp set in Basic Gray – and colored it with the Light Soft Sea Foam Blend – on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Maybe not my usual kind of card, but…the Magnolia Mood bundle really lends itself to CAS cards – and that gorgeous flower is a show-stopper, isn’t it!?
