Stampin’ Up! Handcrafted & Bold Joy of Noel Christmas Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning, all!  Hope your weekend has been fun!  We’ve been sticking pretty close to home – sort of what we do, you know?!  🤷‍♀️  But we’re having really lovely weather so it’s nice to just be able to enjoy it!

Today’s card features the cool Handcrafted Elements – a stand-alone die set in the mini catalog – and some wunnermus Joy of Noel pine boughs and a sentiment.  And it’s all kinds of colorful thanks to the Merry Bold & Bright DSP!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by the Sketch Saturday challenge this week.

I started by adhering a piece of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to a Poppy Parade mat for the card front.  I love this cheerful paper – it’s good for Christmas, sure, but ALSO great for the whole rest of the year!

I cut the next-to-largest Deckled Rectangle from a piece of Basic White, which I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue – cheating it to the right side of the card front.

I used the Handcrafted Elements dies to cut the ornament from Granny Apple Green Foil and the oval from Poppy Parade cardstock.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the Poppy Parade oval to a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Then I fussy cut around the oval.  Note: I did this so that the boughs wouldn’t show behind the ornament on the card front. 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the Granny Apple Green foil die cut ornament to the Poppy Parade oval.

I cut four pine boughs using the Joy of Noel die – two from the Granny Apple Green Foil and two from Shaded Spruce cardstock.

I adhered the pine boughs to the card front with Liquid Glue – then adhered the ornament over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I ran some Calypso Coral 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim thru the top of the ornament and looped it back thru to secure it. I used a Glue Dot to adhere the tails to the card front so they wouldn’t stick up too much!

I stamped the Joy of Noel sentiment in Poppy Parade on a piece of Basic White and then cut it out with my Paper Snips.  Then I adhered it over the ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Iridescent Adhesive-backed Disks and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Joy of Noel foliage image in Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored the berries with my Light Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend – and then stamped the little leaf image in Poppy Parade.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Poppy Parade mat and then into my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Joy of Noel foliage on the front…

…and more of the Merry Bold & Bright DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So pretty with the Handcrafted Elements ornament framed with Joy of Noel pine boughs (my fave die cut ever!), don’t you think?!  And the Merry Bold & Bright DSP is…so…stinkin’…fun!
