Good morning and happy Sunday! We got my customer catalogs out the door – I have my craft room all set up again with my new Pre-Order goodies – magnets filled, stamp sets filed, papers and embellishments and ribbons put away. So…life is good! And I hope the same is true for you as well!
Now – when I first thumbed thru the new Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog – I spied a cool new mask set (on page 47!) – called the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. It makes SUNFLOWERS, y’all! That became one of the first things I added to my Pre-order cart! I made today’s card using those masks, a wonderful new sentiment set called So Sincere – and the stunningly beautiful new All About Autumn DSP for today’s SNEAK PEEK card! Take a look-see:
I started with a gray woodgrain paper from the new All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP (available on 6 Sept!)…
…and used the four sunflower masks from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks to build the flowers on the panel. Just a note – the sunflower masks are just a PART of what you’ll get in this pretty set! You’ll also get a houndstooth pattern, snowflakes and leaves! And I love the new thicker and sturdier mask material – thank you, Stampin’ Up! 🙂
The masks are numbered and I went thru them in order. I used sticky notes to secure my 6″ x 6″ DSP panel and each mask in place.
Using a Small Blending Brush, I colored the base flowers (using mask #1) with Crushed Curry ink. Then I used a second Small Blending Brush to add some Cajun Craze near the middle of the flowers (with the same #1 mask in place).
Switching to Mask #2 – the leaves – I colored them with Old Olive and then added some shading with Mossy Meadow.
The next mask colors the middle of the flowers – I used Wild Wheat. And then the final mask adds detail (and seeds!) to the flowers – which I did in Pecan Pie.
I cut the panel down to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ and matted it on Cajun Craze for the card front.
Using a Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend, I colored the Lemon Lime Twist ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack (this is available now in the Annual Catalog!). Did you know you could do that? Well – now you do! 🙂
Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a few loops of the colored ribbon to the card front.
On a piece of Pebbled Path cardstock, I stamped the So Sincere (available on 6 Sept) sentiment in Versamark and sprinkled it with copper Metallics Embossing Powder. Then I heat set it with the Heat Tool.
This is a super good sentiment-only set, y’all – and one I’m already in love with! Look at the wide-range of sentiment “occasions”!
When the embossing had cooled, I used the die from Something Fancy to cut it out. Then I adhered it over the ribbon with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some new Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots in Mossy Meadow and the card front was done! These are part of the amaze-balls All About Autumn suite and you can get them on 6 Sept, too!
On the inside, I brushed some partial Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks flowers – and a leaf! – onto a Very Vanilla panel using the masks and same colors as the front!
I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere the panel to a Cajun Craze mat and into my Pebbled Path card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got some more of the sunflowers on the front…
… and another design of the All About Autumn DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh. My. Goodness! I am SO glad that I noticed these Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks – these flowers are…stunning! And SO easy! I’m also looking forward to using the other three masks in the set! So Sincere – is…perfect! Love the sentiments – love the fonts! And know you will, too. And – just be ready to buy TWO packs of the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP. One pack of 48 sheets is NOT going to be enough! 🙂

Love this card. The masks are on my list to order. Not a big mask fan, but think these are a MUST have. I agree the Pebbled Path is perfect for this card and the DSP you used. Goes without saying that I love the embossed copper sentiment. But, I said it anyway.
